Kish, I do apologize for the way things went down concerning your possible Forester purchase. We were able to obtain you an approval for purchase and wish it would have worked out for you. When we last spoke I informed you that we could not hold a vehicle and that there was a customer here to purchase the vehicle. I was very forth coming with information so you would be able to make the best decision for yourself. We sent you the email about the vehicle being sold so that you would not waste your time driving all the way up from Atlanta. I apologize if there was any communication and I assure you there was no "shady" business going on. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers during and after the sell. In our business we are not able to hold cars. I would love to have the opportunity to earn your business on anything we may have that you like. Since you mentioned the last time we spoke, you will recall that I was ready to put down a deposit of $1,000 and you said you would check with the finance manager and call me back. That didn't happen. No one expected you to hold the car without a deposit. If I had known you wouldn't bother to call me back, I would've given you payment information right then. Although, I'm not entirely sure you wouldn't have sold the car anyway since the person who came in had cash. That's why I used the term "shady." I ended up finding a 2009 Forester which I love, so I will not need any further assistance.

Yes maam you are correct about the deposit, I informed you that was not normal but I would check on it for you. The email you received after that was telling you that we would not be able to do that. As far as the customer that purchased for cash, we as a dealership would much rather sold you the car and obtaining your financing. This is an unfortunate chain of events that rarely happens in our business and I do apologize for that. I am glad to hear that you have found a car that you like. If I can do anything for you in the future please feel free to call me as we value our customers.
