My 2012 Hyundai Accent was in the mileage reimbursement program due to the fact that hyundai misrepresented the mileage rating on the vehicle. Throughout my ownership Hyundai always made it very difficult to receive reinbursements, i.e., service department failed to submit my request or the reimbursement center would send an email to the wrong address to confirm the payment, although I would continually receive emails at the correct address from hyundai or the service department to buy or schedule something. Got the feeling they were hoping I would get tired of the run around and stop asking about it. On 12-9-2022 my vehicle was involved in an accident in Columbus, GA that totaled my car (it was non-driver able). Service department stated they had to see the vehicle; they could do nothing even though I had a legal title with the mileage when the insurance company paid me for the vehicle. They gave me a number to call to the program. He said they could call him, but he was not going to call them. I called the hyundai reimbursement program office, they said they would submit a request to about my reimbursement. I have called them multiple times, with no answer on my reimbursement request, was told it was working. Again, hyundai is hoping I will just go away. Funny thing is I need a new car, buy another car from a dealership I can trust. Unlikely. More
