A stellar car buying experience I have been waiting for some time for the IONIQ to be available. When I took my Sonata in for service the other day, I saw the Ioniq on the sales lot. I have been waiting for some time for the IONIQ to be available. When I took my Sonata in for service the other day, I saw the Ioniq on the sales lot. I hooked up with Amanda and obtained all the info I needed, then took a test drive. I was SOLD! The offer for my Sonata as a trade-in was fair, and I became the first customer to purchase an Ioniq. Craig Francis is Aces I had the pleasure of dealing with Craig Francis and although I was just planning to look and gather information about the sonata hybrid, Craig ended I had the pleasure of dealing with Craig Francis and although I was just planning to look and gather information about the sonata hybrid, Craig ended up making the sale that day. He is the quintessential salesman who has not forgotten that serving the customer doesn't end when they sign on the dotted line. With one phrase, 'what can I do to get you in this car', he closed the deal for me, because I told him what I would like and he made it happen. I would definitely recommend him to others. The reason why I only gave a 4 star rating is because it is for the dealership. Craig deserves 5 stars all the way. The only thing that put me off was the condition I received the car in. It was clean inside but there was a big strip of adhesive from the factory that had been left across the trunk, even though Craig had been told the car had been washed (it clearly had not, because I could feel the dirt on it). The reason neither Craig nor myself noticed it was because it was raining the day I picked the car up so we didn't spend any time looking over the exterior. Craig straightened things out for me, because I was worried about the adhesive having a bad affect on the car's finish. When I was in the area, I brought it in and Craig had their guy take the glue off and run it through the wash - good as new, and he has promised me a detailing on my next visit. To me, that says everything you need to know about him -even though it was not his mistake, he made it right. The jury is still also out on the car itself. I love the look, feel and design of the hyundai sonata hybrid but after 2 tanks of gas I am still not seeing anything close to the mileage i hoped to be getting with it, so I may have them check it out on it's first service. More
