I think it was inherently wrong for Hyundai to charge me for a problem that they did not fix. I told management that my car had engine seizures as well as car stalls on interstate and at stoplights, which t for a problem that they did not fix. I told management that my car had engine seizures as well as car stalls on interstate and at stoplights, which terrified me as a car owner. Even though Hyundai replaced a crank shaft sensor in an effort to alleviate the problem of engine seizures and car stalls, it did not fix the problem. The manager then continued to have a conversation with me about how “they were no thorough enough” to fix the problem. After charging me 200$ for the crank shaft sensor to be replaced, the manager proceeded to charge me for an overpriced alternator, but he said that he would “waive the labor costs,” saying that instead of 1300$, I would only have to pay 600$ for the alternator in addition to the 200$ that I spent for the crank shaft position sensor replaced. Again, the problem was not fixed from the previous charge, and so I was disappointed when I had to search for a mechanic because Hyundai could not fix my car and guarantee that this problem would be fixed if I payed for the overpriced alternator. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing a Hyundai or returning to a Hyundai dealership for any services. I do hope that future customers can receive better treatment for their vehicles as I do believe that the workers should be more thorough with fixing their customer’s Hyundai vehicles. More
The service manager Cara Ledet is awesome. She was very friendly and got us in and out quickly, properly diagnosed the problem and had the repair finished faster than promised. Very unprofessional. Dropped my tire and rim off to get replaced and mounted. They completely forgot and made me wait 3 hours.
