66 Year Old Widow Gets Taken to Cleaners My mom walked into this dealer with a Chevy Equinox and needed to get a car with lower payments. She walked out agreeing to a 4 year lease paying $650 My mom walked into this dealer with a Chevy Equinox and needed to get a car with lower payments. She walked out agreeing to a 4 year lease paying $650 a month (pennies less than other car) on a Hyundai Tucson. They preyed on an elderly woman who knew no difference, telling her she was saving money and getting a newer car. The buyout for a car that was originally worth 25,000 is still $31,000. These people are why car dealers have the reputation they do. She would have owned the Equinox in less than 2 years. More
