By going to a competitor, and asking their opinion, are you expecting them to say "Why yes, they were right and you should have given your money to them?" Of course they wouldn't. They are going to say negative things to put you into a false sense of security. I hope your DRIVE belt and fluids lasted. Who would have thought, one mechanic bad mouthing another?
