After Market Parts Equal Crappy Parts Here I purchased my car from this dealership in 2001 from Michael Brandt whom I adore. Very respectful personable and professional, he sold me a GREAT infi I purchased my car from this dealership in 2001 from Michael Brandt whom I adore. Very respectful personable and professional, he sold me a GREAT infinit G20. Unfortunately over the years service, professionalism and customer appreciation has gone down the toilet. Back then, I would go in for an oil change and the service department would make me aware of EVERYTHING that was wrong with my car, whether I came in for a certain problem or not. If my service light was on they'd at least mention it and let the customer know. Now they will only look at what the customer requests. I'm sure if I had a brand new car I would be treated like I was in 2001. They would make you aware of these issues so that if you chose to, you could get the issue fixed at that time. A month ago 2018 I took my car back from just getting some major work done, after less than a month and spending thousands of dollars. I explained the noise I heard and the tech hopped in the car with me and of course didn't hear anything, fine. I knew it was a sound I shouldn't be hearing. I demanded they put my car up to inspect it, otherwise because the tech didn't hear anything he was going to insist I take my car back home without looking at it and THAT in itself upset me. Mike Sebo was so kind and told me to bring it back if I heard it again. Sure enough not only did i hear it again my son thought my car was going to break. The noise bacame louder and louder and I took it back niether of the guys who had done work on it were there. Madie was a one woman band that day and was getting customers in and out, I took a tech with me he heard the issue and I was given a loaner. Monday morning when I recieved a phone call from the service guy he verified that I had brought it in and made sure I was aware that that faulty part was a aftermarket part that I opted for. Didn't know after market meant crappy? He did Me a favor by not charging me labor for that part that didn't even hold up a whole month. Needless to say the noise that I was hearing was from the loose calibers that were installed on the new rear brakes that they had just replaced. thankful that I didn't get in an accident while transporting my children in the car. They're was no apology for the inconvenience ( I don't live around the corner) they caused me just a "hope I don't see you back again, only for an oil change." How inconsiderate and to not apologize shows the lack of integrity you have. I think a better practice this dealarship should incorporate is to have a service tech who did not work on your car test drive it with the customer who brings it back. I also think it's not fair that the techs who do all the work on your car aren't pictured or rated (they do all the work to make sure you're safe). Not the person who calls stating what's done on your car. Aggravated and wondering if I should have got my work done here. More
