INFINITI of Scottsdale responded

Dear "LovelyEva", Please accept my apology on behalf of Infiniti of Scottsdale. I have reviewed all of the available information regarding your purchase of a used car here in May 2008. Though it was more than a year ago, it seems clear that we did not respond as professionally as we should have and almost always do. Cinda, your salesperson actually had a good record while she worked here, but she certainly could have and should have handled your requirements better. Although our average salesperson has been working here for more than 5 years, Cinda's stay with us was relatively brief. She was here a little more than a year, and she left us in February 2009. People who stay here for a long time are commited to outstanding customer relations. Nevertheless, I apologize for the poor way that Infiniti of Scottsdale served you. We need happy customers. You didn’t make it clear in your comments whether you actually received your trunk net. It appears from our notes that Cinda did send two of them; obviously you did not receive the first; did you receive the second net she sent? A brief word of explanation – when you submitted your internet inquiry, you used a different last name and different address than you used when you actually bought the car. One address was in Gilbert, and one was in Chandler. I wonder if perhaps Cinda sent one or both nets to the wrong address? Our records contain copies of 6 emails she sent to your gmail account in the 30 days following the sale on May 28, 2008. In any event, we want you to have the cargo net, and since you have not been back here for service or anything else since, we just don’t know. The long and short of it is that we are willing to do anything reasonable at all to give you satisfaction with us. Please let me know what you feel we need to do to make this right. Again, we are disappointed with our performance and we apologize. Mal Kenney Internet Director

LovelyEva responded

Thank you for your message Mal. I appreciate it. Everything that took place just left a bad taste in my mouth and for that reason I have not returned to your dealership. I now take my car in for service to the Mesa location. I did receive the cargo net and its in my car now, thank you for asking. I will keep your dealership in mind when it comes time to trade in but since you said Cinda no longer works there, I wont have to "try" to avoid her =) I did have another "issue" which I asked directly to speak to Amir about. I came all the way over to the dealership to have it taken care of and was hoping to meet him. That did not happen but the problem was resolved. Anyway, thank you for the message. Have a great day! LP

INFINITI of Scottsdale responded

We replied to LovelyEva immediately after receiving this review. Much of what she reports here is, unfortunately, true. We did not do a very good job in her purchase experience and we have apologized to her. There are some things that we could quibble with in what LovelyEva says, the least of which is that ALL of this took place more than a year ago and both employees involved are no longer with us here at Infiniti of Scottsdale. (That, in itself, is very different for us - our average salesperson and business manager tenure is more than 5 years.) We are grateful for all the positive reviews we receive here on dealerrater, but they are not accidental. We work our tails off to make our customers happy. Occasionally, we miss the mark. We were less than what we try to be with LovelyEva; we apologize again; we have learned from our experience; and we are even more committed to outstanding customer service.
