Nasty sales men, lied constantly throughout the whole sale, added fees after we bought the car and the salesmen talk behind your back. horrible customer service. sale, added fees after we bought the car and the salesmen talk behind your back. horrible customer service. More
If I could give them a double zero rating, I would. Don't buy a car from them unless you want thousands of dollars added to your contract (hidden) without you knowing it. They have you sign on a tablet so you are unable to read all of your contract & then they email the contract to you. I had my doubts and should have checked out the reviews on yelp, because they are BAD!!! We should have known better. They didn't ask if they could run our credit, they just ran it with a lender that we didn't want. They added almost $5000 by the way they did the breakdown...but again, you couldn't see it. Then they added a reconditioning fee of $2,249.00 to make the "truck look good". That's no even something that you legally have to pay...but again, it was hidden. When we went back in and tried to talk to them, (TIM) told us that he wasn't going to correct anything and was extremely unprofessional. They lure you in, rush you out, and quietly cheat you. We've purchase a lot of cars and trucks, but this was absolutely the WORST car buying experience ever. They are money hungry devils!!! More

Upon further inspection, ALL FOUR TIRES were different with likely 4-5/32 of tread left except for ONE tire which looked new. I opened the engine bay and noticed how clean it was. I made a comment about how they (the dealer) did a great job cleaning the car. The sales guy then says, "Oh well, that was likely the previous owner who cleaned it. We don't look at these cars because we know we're only getting good cars." I thought cool, let's go in and talk numbers. Sat down and sales guy hands me a piece of paper with a price that is TWICE the online advertised price. He says we have to qualify for the advertised price, after asking why it's so much. He also points to a $2250 "Reconditioning Fee". If you did ANY reconditioning, I would AT LEAST see 4 NEW matching tires. HUGE RED FLAG! I can immediately tell they were lying. Shady business practices. I KNOW how dealerships are ran and they are NOT one of the good ones. I immediately figured out that they prey on the uninformed. BUYER BEWARE! More

My experience is from out of town. .i discovered they don't ship cars...so getting exact vehicle condition info is critical for a purchase...no engine pics on a camaro engine...sales pe .i discovered they don't ship cars...so getting exact vehicle condition info is critical for a purchase...no engine pics on a camaro engine...sales person refers you to the inspection/service contract people who can tell you nothing about the car...check the carfax was the response..suggested I fly in to inspect it..said they would provide info and pics after I called to xxu... pre approved for the purchase..after 2 days of nada I call back again and the vehicle is sold...don't even waste a breath on them if your out of town and looking for a streamlined purchase expierience...the car was beautiful...but it appears they can only work with what's standing in front of them... My first impression with dealership and the salesman Mr Sunday was great. But, sadly that changed real quick. I was sitting in Food City parking lot two days after buying car, at least I thought I had bought it, and all of sudden I’m getting picked up by a tow truck. I was very upset so not only did someone just take my car but also left me down town Phoenix at dark with no way anywhere. When I called dealership they told me I got towed because they had accepted my id and not my license. To say xxx is putting it mildly. Then when I got back to place to get car after having to pay $800 to courts to get license which is what I was told was all I needed I sat there for almost 3 to 4 hours with something that was suppose to b 30 mins tops only to get them to come to me with a check for $700 tellin me it was a no go. Why? Cuz my job said I had been fired which sadly come to find out was true as of today becuz I wasn’t at work like I was suppose to be due to dealership. So mind you I had given them 1500.00 they only gave me 700 back making me pay for tow and miles put on car. When it was their fault for not paying attention. So this entire situation xxxxxxxxx situation cost me $700+800+250=$1,750.00 and what do I have to show for it NOTHING!!!!! Not including losing my dam job!!!!!! More

I sincerely hope people READ THIS! IT WILL SAVE YOU $1000's, and a lot of time!!! This is a VERY CORRUPT dealership. Sold me a severely damaged unsafe vehicle at high Blue Book cost IT WILL SAVE YOU $1000's, and a lot of time!!! This is a VERY CORRUPT dealership. Sold me a severely damaged unsafe vehicle at high Blue Book cost. The 2012 Chevy Colorado, 71867 miles, for sale at just under high Blue Book value was not sellable in the condition they offered it to me. Since I was buying from out of State they required a cashier's check with full payment to hold the car so I could come and see it. I paid the purchase price and flew to Mesa Arizona to inspect the car. During the inspection I noted a surging in the engine as it idled. The salesperson told me "all cars sound differently" to which I replied let's just check for codes. The code found subsequently required a timing chain replacement. They did change the timing chain but in the process left the vehicle not completely assembled. The oil pan was broken during removal, the drain plug was leaking oil, the rack and pinion steering assembly was leaking, the fuel lines were not connected to the holding assembly, the brake line on the passenger side was bent and kinked (which is dangerous and likely to render a fluid leak), the fan shroud was unattached and bouncing into the fan when I test drove it, the battery was not tied down, one of the electronic modules was left hanging by its wiring in the engine bay, there was loose and missing hardware in several locations. There is too much to describe on this thread. When confronted about the condition of the vehicle the dealership refused to help with any of the repairs! Worst dealership, maintenance facility and business practices I've ever encountered in my life. Please do yourself a favor do not buy from Ideal Cars anywhere in Arizona or in the united states. This is a culture problem probably extending throughout the corporate environment. Just don't go there. October 30, 2022 was the original purchase date. This is an update. I've poured over $10,000 into the vehicle to get it to run right. I'm embarrassed to say. The final diagnosis is an internal component I think it's called the timing chain actuator. It will cost more to fix it than it's worth. I can't sell it with a check engine light either! More
