I hope I made the right decision because this will be my first experience with a Hyundai. I've driven toyotas and hondas and i know their reliability and resale value is excellent. Doing my research online revealed how impressive Hyundai and Kia have become. Let's face it, there are many good used and new car choices out there, it's kind of hard to narrow it down! I had gone to carmax the previous week to carmax. I was not impressed one little bit. No one came out to help me. Granted, it was a rainy and raw day, but the sales people there could have cared less about helping me. I marked them off my list. At ideal, my experience was just the opposite. I felt valued and respected. Ken made it clear to me that ideal wants good, long-term relationships with their customers. They have been in business for over 100 years so they are doing something right! Rob and Ken are knowledgeable about and have proven track records with Hyundais. I test drove a beautiful white sonata hybrid blue. Its low mileage, fun handling, perfect condition, good acceleration and all of the features I wanted made it attractive enough for me. What surprised me is the money they were willing to give me for my trade. I decided not to trade my old car but to sell it for cheap to my son needing to replace one of his high-mileage cars. My only regret is that I didn't ask for a better deal on the price of my Hyundai since the good trade-in was off the table. But you live and learn and maybe they wouldn't have been able to drop the asking price. The other disappointment was an interest rate of 5.71% and I have excellent credit. I thought I might have gotten a better interest rate on the car loan. The low interest rates are for new cars! I hope to pay it off as quickly as possible. One last thought to impart to those reading this is I'm happy to have free car washes as long as i have the car. Since my sonata is white, those free car washes will come in handy! More
