Had a very minor fuel odor which turned out to be nothing. Marc had the car checked out and as no actual work was done there was no charge. As a first time buyer I felt that the finance director tried to take advantage of me. To start off, he tried to sell me the GAP insurance, Warranty, and maintenance plan for a really high price. Secondly, tried to take advantage of me. To start off, he tried to sell me the GAP insurance, Warranty, and maintenance plan for a really high price. Secondly, when I asked him if those plans were required in order for me to get the loan, he lied straight to my face and said yes. I mistakenly believed him and did the deal. I did some research afterwards and realized that it was illegal for him to say that those plans were required. I confronted him after I bought the car and he said “That is how I negotiate with the bank”. It was not until I asked in writing to cancel those plans that he finally gave in. Luckily I had 60 days to cancel with only a $50 fee. After I refinanced my car after 3 months I got GAP insurance for $250 instead of the $750 that he sold it to me for. I have now been waiting 5 months for that refund. His latest excuse is that the system has been down for over a week so he can’t check the status of my refund. I am probably never doing business with this guy again. More
