I had been looking to buy a car for almost a year when I found a few cars online I thought I might be interested in. So I started out early one Saturday morning on my search. I went to another dealership prior to Prime Honda and did not enjoy that experience; it did not appear to me that the salesman was willing to put in the effort with me (he told me to add air to the tire, and could not remember my name) so I decided to go to Prime Honda, which was next on my list, hoping for a more positive experience. The first salesman to greet me was Dave Clifford, with a big smile on his face. My initial impression of Dave was that he was friendly and motivated to make me feel comfortable and at ease with the process of buying my first car as a single woman (which can be an intimidating experience). I came prepared with a list of cars I wanted to view and what I appreciated about Dave's style was that he was focused on my needs and wants and did not attempt to push me into something I was not looking for. There was one car I was really interested in but it was in another lot, in another town. Dave was more than happy to drive me to that dealership so I could view the car. Due to the car being a "new arrival" and still on the lift, I was unable to drive it that day, so Dave set up a meeting the following business day, reporting that he would have the car ready and on his lot for me to test drive. True to his word, on Monday Dave again greeted me with a smile, and led me to the car. While test driving, Dave was knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to answer any questions I had. This entire process made me feel at ease and I credit Dave with that. I am now a proud owner of my first car and thank Dave for making that experience a positive, productive, and enjoyable one. He was entertaining, attentive, and thorough. I would highly recommend anyone going to Prime Honda to ask for Dave Clifford. I would not want to work with anyone else but him. Recently my husband and I went into Prime Honda to test drive a GMC we saw in the lot. I always dread driving on to a dealership and getting bombarded by hungry sales people who do anything they can to con drive a GMC we saw in the lot. I always dread driving on to a dealership and getting bombarded by hungry sales people who do anything they can to convince you to come in side and sit down with them however, this was not the case with Dave Clifford. Dave Clifford greeted my husband and I in the lot with energy and enthusiasm, he was more than willing to let us take the GMC for a test drive. Although the GMC was not the right fit for us we were very glad we got to work with Dave and if we see anything at Prime Honda in the future we will be sure to contact him for the sale. More

I had the good fortune to meet up with Dave Clifford at Prime Honda. Dave Clifford was great to work with, I had done a lot of research on line but they were the first dealership we had stopped at to check out the new Honda CRV's, they had met everything that I asked for in t research on line but they were the first dealership we had stopped at to check out the new Honda CRV's, they had met everything that I asked for in the vehicle and the payment range that I wanted to stay at, Dave understood this and worked hard to accomplish this for us, there was no reason to look elsewhere, they met everyone of our requests and it was very refreshing not to have to go from dealership to dealership trying to get a reasonable trade, purchase price and final finance figure. I would recommend Dave to our friends and family, he really tries very hard to connect with his customers and understand what they are looking for, if it wasn't for Dave this could have been at the very least a month long process of going on line and spending endless hours on the weekend at the dealership trying to find the best deal and the vehicle I wanted, Bravo to Dave and Prime Honda for making this such a painless process (and did I mention I really hate car shopping!) so this was a really great experience.
