Mr. Roscoe Robinson, things were not handled to my satisfaction. I am just now getting a response back from you a year later. I emailed you at the above email address on February 15, 2022 at 3:38 p.m. forwarding my October 6, 2021 email communication with Rafael Ortiz. It gave a thorough explaining of the incident that occurred on the phone call to Ira Subaru Servicing Department regading the servicing of the 2016 Honda Civic brakes on October 6, 2021. I got no response from you. I also emailed you on September 21, 2022 at the email address you mentioned above with an attached copy of Kelly Honda, Lynn, MA repair receipt. Again, I got no response. Please check your email. I would be happy to forward you the receipt again. We are expecting full reimbursement for this out-of-pocket expenditure.

After calling Subaru of America to report this incident, several phone calls and emails to Ira Subaru, over a year later, Jeff Lubas was assigned the responsibility of arranging the refund for the out-of-pocket expenditure. Thanks Jeff for your due diligence. The refund check was received towards the end of October 2022. As a result of this, I changed my rating from one to three.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that the vehicle that you were interested in was sold by the time you made a decision to purchase. But, as the Sales Manager indicated when you first arrived into the dealership…another customer came in to test drive the vehicle prior to your arrival. Since you did not put a deposit on the vehicle, anyone is able to place a deposit over the phone or come in and purchase. As you were debating purchasing, the first buyer knew what a quality car and great deal they were getting and decided to purchase the car. I am so sorry it did not work out for you but we have many cars in that price range for purchase. I highly suggest that if you find a vehicle you’re interested in, please place a deposit on it so that it cannot be shown or sold. Thank you for your review. When you visited our store you were interested in an Orange Crosstrek. You were presented with 2 Crosstreks and both were Orange. You asked for figures on the less expensive one. After you got the figures you stated you received an “UBER notification that you had a pick up” and “you had to leave” We have followed up multiple times to review other options we had for you and we have not heard back. Clifford, I apologize for the frustration. It appears that there was a breakdown in communication from sales to service. They assumed you just wanted a hitch and not a hitch and harness. A lot of clients use the hitches for bike attachments and such. As you are aware of when you were in today, Subaru currently has that wiring harness on backorder. It will be a week before we can get that wiring harness installed. I do understand that if we were aware to order a harness with your hitch, it still would have taken a week to receive. This does not make the situation any better but I thank you for your patients as the manufacturing world is currently struggling with sourcing raw materials and widgets.
