Long version: Given the phenomenal experience I recently had at this dealership, I feel compelled to write a review. I have been looking to purchase a used Subaru WRX for several months. There aren't many WRX for sale where I live (upstate NY), so I had been looking around other areas within a 200 mile radius. I finally found a used 2011 for what I thought was a good price. Thankfully I waited another week before purchasing and I happened to stumble across Manchester Subaru. To my shock, I found they were selling brand new 2013 Subaru WRXs for the same exact price (well below MSRP) with the same exact option as the 2011 USED WRX that I was looking to purchase! I called them up thinking this had to be a mistake. Nope. The price was correct. So, there is your first takeaway. You will simply not find a lower price on WRX's in the Northeast. Believe me. I have looked around. The sales person I spoke with on the phone was an individual by the name of Jack Berkowitz. I am sure everyone at the dealership is great, but I have to strongly recommend that you buy a car from this guy. He is very laid back with absolutely no hint of that "pushing car salesman" demeanor that I have unfortunately experienced at other dealerships in the past. It was refreshing dealing with someone like him. I was trading in a car and I wanted to make sure we were within the same ballpark on the trade-in value before I drove out there (3 1/2 hour drive). I didn't expect to hold them to a specific figure because of course they need to see the car. I just wanted to see where there ballpark number was. I gave Jack a figure and he came back with a number that was just slightly lower (but certainly fair) and good enough for me to drive out to NH. The day I went out I was nervous. I was afraid that the dealership would offer me a lower figure for my car once I got there because they knew I was coming all the way from NY (3 1/2 hour drive) and in sense they had all of the power. They could just say "take it or leave it" and then I would be stuck with either (a) a bad deal or (b) a long drive back with no new car. I was so relieved (and surprised) that they kept the price we talked over the phone! They didn't even try to nickel and dime me down a couple of hundred dollars. They kept the price as is and had everything ready to go. Given the rock bottom price for the WRX and the great trade in value they were giving me, it took all of about 2 seconds before I was signing on the dotted line. Jack was great as was the finance manager who helped me through all of the paperwork. I think I was in and out of the dealership within 1 hour. I really couldn't have had a better experience. Here is the bottom line: This is the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. If you are within a 4 hour drive of this dealership and are on the fence as to where you should purchase your next Subaru, don't be. The answer is simple: Manchester Subaru of NH. More
On December 9,2012 I signed papers to buy my first Subaru - Impreza hatchback with AWD. The experience was so easy. However the whole process of final selecting, finding a comfortable price, and understanding the steps involved with ownership, was all a breeze because of my sales person, Joey LaBranche. His style matched with me - no fake hi energy, no talking down to a single woman, answering questions thoroughly and professionally. When I picked up the Subaru Joey sat with me in the car and walked me through Impreza's different features. At a later date I'll take Joey's offer to help me set up my cell phone with the Blue Tooth technology. Thank you, Joey for all your care. Another employee, name forgotten, was very pleasant, as well. He dealt with the paperwork, warranty's, etc. Thanks to you, also. More
We just picked up our brand new Subaru from Manchester Subaru. We live in Massachusetts but we end up buying a car from New Hampshire because their price was the best. Our impression was that he knows his staff. He knew exactly what’s needed to drive off the car from the lot including paper work from insurance company and registering the car with Massachusetts RMV. He took care of it all. It was a breeze for us. When we showed up to pick up the car, everything was done according to our agreement and he demonstrated and explained various functions of our new car and even set up blue tooth for us. It was a hassle free car buying experience and my husband and I will buy a new car again from them and we highly recommend them. We love our Subaru. This is our 4th Subaru in the last 15 years. It has been very reliable, required minimum expense for maintenance; it has been a good car, meeting perfectly out outdoor activities needs including fishing, camping and skiing as well as day to day transportation and shopping. More
A couple kind words for Joey, who offered me good value on a trade and good value on a new WRX, and who went out of his way to make the sale quick and convenient. Including: offering to drive my new car do on a trade and good value on a new WRX, and who went out of his way to make the sale quick and convenient. Including: offering to drive my new car down to Boston (declined, but appreciated); swapping snow tires from the old car to new for free; taking a tow hitch off the old car, also for free; and making sure there wasn't a dealer badge on the back of the new car. All with a minimum of haggling. Happy to have worked with him. More

I can't say enough about the high degree of service and respect from Joey. I've been purchasing cars for over forty years and I can Honestly say, He is hands down, the Best of the Best! Not a typical pushy car dealership. Very good and respectable customer service. Joey was great, he didn't make us feel pressured to leave with a car that day (even though we did!) and sat through and respectable customer service. They were advertising free service for two years if you purchased a car in August. We had a discussion with our sales person, Joey LaBranche about this and he explained to us that it's not every oil change, but every other. We asked if it had to be put into writting and he said no that it would just show in the computer that we purchased the car in August and we should be all set. Now that it's time for service, we are being told that they didn't offer this in August and that it's not in writting. My Husband spoke with two different people at the dealership regarding this matter. The first person said he'd get back to him, but alas, one month later... no call. So my Husband called back and spoke to a person named Joseph ?? Joseph told him they would not offer it and even said, "we both know it's not free, nothing is free, you pay for it". I will NOT be paying for it at Manchester Subaru!!!!! The customer service AFTER the sale was the complete opposite as before the sale!! I have to say that I was so excited to tell everyone how great my experience was but now I will definitely be telling them all how DISAPPOINTED I am. More

My husband and I showed up one saturday and not expecting to purchase the 2013 outback for another few weeks, but we honestly couldn't beat the price Joey came back to us with the exact car I wanted and also the have to haves (moonroof and other accessories). We are so happy with our purchase and would recommend Joey LaBranche to anyone buying a new car who wants an easy-going, not your typical sales man, he doesn't push, and he really gets you what you want for the right price:)!!! More
