Oiled the steering wheel 4/24/19 had oil change and tire rotation service, simple enough, not on this visit. Got in vehicle after service and noticed a sheen all across the t 4/24/19 had oil change and tire rotation service, simple enough, not on this visit. Got in vehicle after service and noticed a sheen all across the top of the steering wheel and door handles. At first I thought they must have done a half xxx attempt at an armor all job on the steering wheel,, but then I realized it was oil. I’m guessing this happened when the technician reset the oil maintenance interval with the odometer. Service advisor was surprised & apologized, retrieved cleaning solution and wipes. Leave prime get on the turnpike ramp and get a severe vibration. Thinking a lug nut was loose, I get out and inspect. All are tight, look for something obvious and notice a balancing weight is missing. Can’t say Prime Toyota caused the balancing weight to fall off, they did rotate the tires and perhaps it’s a coincidence that the weight came off. Must be hard to attract and retain good techs these days. More
