Careles about their customers' time I live in Portland, but I bought my car down in Saco. I like the car very much, but I absolutely hate customer service at Prime Toyota in Saco! I've been experienced a luck of care from them previously many times. Once I came over for oil change and inspection but got only oil change done. I had to wait for a couple more hours for the inspection to be done. Another time I've scheduled my appointment to do a re-calibration for newly replaced windshield but when I came over for my appointment I was told that they don't have a specialist who can do that. On my question of why I was scheduled for the service I was told that they don't know. This time it was the last time when I came over to Prime Toyota for the service! I was never treated like that in my whole life and I will never be back there again! I contacted Prime Toyota in Saco on October 31 thru their sms-chat. I got a standard message saying "Thanks for contacting Prime Toyota Saco..."and I said that I need to do my latest factory recall check and also I wanted to install remote starter. After that I've received a confirmation email and a confirmation phone call about my appointment scheduled. I was so happy that I got it done! Today (November 15) I woke up at 5 am to be there in Prime at 7:30 am. But when I came into the office to check in with the manager I was told that they don't have any appointments with me! I showed him confirmation email and he said that my appointment was scheduled in Berlin City Toyota in Portland! I couldn't believe in it! I definitely spoke with Prime in Saco and I asked to schedule an appointment in Prime in Saco as well. So I asked of what I should do, should I go back to Portland and be served where I was unexpectedly scheduled? But the manager said to leave my car in Prime and he will try to get everything done. I wasn’t sure if I should leave my car because I was worry if he will be able to install the remote starter (which was very important for me to get done today). But he said that he will probably be able to do that. My friend gave me a ride back to Portland (where I work ) and I was at work waiting for manager’s call. He called me back after 1 hour and told me that factory recall check was accomplished but they can’t install a remote starter because they are booked for a few weeks ahead. I asked for any help with that, any support to get it done! It was not my fault that they messed up with my appointment and I really needed it to be done today! Apparently I wasn’t that important to help me with the mistake done by Prime itself! Manager said that there is nothing that he can do. I had to ask my co-worker to give me a ride to Saco, pick up my car, and drive back to Portland. No one even apologized for this horrible mistake which cost me 5 hours of my time waisted! I don’t really know why they were that much careless about their mistake. Is it because I’m a woman? Or is it because I’m a foreigner?? I went to Berlin City Toyota in Portland and they happily agreed to take my car and to install the starter. I wish I bought my car and received all services originally with them! As I wrote in my customer review on Google “So many reasons DO NOT have any business with Prime Toyota in Saco!” More
Knowledgeable salesman and staff John Harmon was very knowledgeable bout the trundra an on the test drive. The head salesman was also great to deal with. The gentleman in finance was great at explaining everything (sorry forgot his name) an had a good conversation with him while filling out paperwork. The gentleman in accessories was great with helping me get a truck bed liner an have it installed before I left as well as the assistant service manager. Had an excellent experience. More
Needed a Vehicle and Did Not Have the Best Credit I went to Prime Toyota in hopes of getting a vehicle, and I got my first new car that I love driving in. I wasn't very sure of what vehicle I wanted, I went to Prime Toyota in hopes of getting a vehicle, and I got my first new car that I love driving in. I wasn't very sure of what vehicle I wanted, and I got to browse all of the Prime locations to find the car that would best suit me. I ended up getting a Mazda, but I still got to work with the lovely people of Prime Toyota. A family member recommended I go to Berto, and I am so happy I did. He is the nicest guy and made sure I got the best deal possible for my situation. I so greatly appreciate how easy the whole car-buying experience was because of Berto. Thank you so much! More
Terrible up sell for non required maintenance The service and employees were excellent and attentive. The only negative, and it's a big one, is the recommendation to have my fuel injectors service The service and employees were excellent and attentive. The only negative, and it's a big one, is the recommendation to have my fuel injectors serviced, $139 and fluids changed $169. The truck runs perfect and is not used in any extreme conditions. 50000 mostly highway miles, no towing or loading. When my bill comes, there still a paper in the back stating that these things need immediate attention, yet they are not recommended in the maintenance schedule unless you are using in extreme conditions, which I am not. Trying to push work on unsuspecting customers is what give dealerships a well deserved bad reputation. More
Treated professionally but lacking. I brought in my Toyota Avalon for service on Wednesday and was treated with courtesy and professionalism. I was told my car would be ready in an hour or less but waited an hour and a half plus. I was also told the car was washed for me only to see it was not. I did not mention it at the dealership because I had already spent more time there than expected. More
