"Will not return" ! Long story short......had Rav 4 in for oil change and tire rotation October 18, 2018. This dealer also performs a check on fluids, tires and brakes et Long story short......had Rav 4 in for oil change and tire rotation October 18, 2018. This dealer also performs a check on fluids, tires and brakes etc., They categorized my FRONT brakes only in the "red" column meaning "requires immediate attention" with a calibration of #3. REAR brakes were ok at this time. Prior to this visit in April 2018 for oil change and tire rotation they categorized the FRONT and REAR brakes in the "green" column meaning "checked and ok at this time" with a calibration # 8 for the front brakes and # 7 for the rear. This past January 2018 they categorized the FRONT brakes only in the "yellow" column meaning "may require future attention" with a calibration of #4. Rear brakes were ok at this time. From "may require future attention" to "checked and ok at this time" to "requires immediate attention" !! ?? I took the time to bring the RAV 4 to my neighborhood garage I had used for over 20 years to check the same brakes. They showed me the rotors and pads. They had wear but assured me they were in no need for "immediate attention". They stated both the front and rear brakes had an estimated 40% to 60% usage and were in safe riding condition. I have not used this neighborhood garage on a regular basis, due to the distance of many miles away from my residence since moving. But from this review on, you can bet I will somehow again bring my RAV 4 to them when need be and feel completely confident in my decision. I know I can rely on them. p.s. This dealer estimated the price of the FRONT brake rotors and pads replacement to be $440.00. And being fair to add, one of this dealers long time porters has clearly lost his compassion and willingness to address you upon arrival. They smothered the entire underside of truck with thick black coating, covering shocks as well. I did not become aware until having tires replaced and told that factory shocks needs replacing....factory shocks??? I thought I would let them redeem themselves and answered their text inquiring that I vome back for an inspection of my frame. I took the bait. They attempted to railroad me on billing/service, then gaslight me when that didn't work, Hoodwinked me with " your service agent is on vacation". Shame on you Toyota for employing bigotted and hateful people!! I will be sure to tell everyone I know what kind of employees you employ at Prime Toyota in Saco, Maine. More
