I went to Prime Toyota on a whim. I had just left Jolly John and told I couldnt afford anything before I even walked through the door. Why? because I'm a female and only 21 years old and happened to be dri John and told I couldnt afford anything before I even walked through the door. Why? because I'm a female and only 21 years old and happened to be driving a piece of junk car. This is how I had been treated at every other dealership. I was sick of being turned down for my age and sex, or attacked by car salesmen trying to sell me things that I had already told them was out of my price. As I pulled in I assummed I would get the same treatment, and instead I was greeted with quiet the opposite. As I took intrest in a car on the lot I was greeted by Jan Long. She nicely asked me what I was looking for, and even though I told her I had my doubts of what they may have to offer me, she assured me that they dont give up easily and they surely proved it. She asked me specifically what my options were, do I have money down, a trade, what I was looking for everything. After that most dealers are more apt to show you all the nice beautiful new cars that they know are out of your price range. Jan didnt do that, she ran my credit report first to make sure they even had something to offer me before showing me anything, and when she came back with a car it was only something that was in my price range. After getting everything aproved my Prime, I had trouble getting it aproved by Toyota and it could have been easy for Jan and Mike to both just call me and tell me there was nothing they could do. Mike spent all day trying to refigure anything he could to help me make it work. Thoughout it both of them called me with updates just to let me know they hadnt forgotten about me or given up. It was quiet hard to believe but when Jan called me and asked if there was a chance of putting money down and I said no. I still recieved a phone call with in hours of a new plan Mike had come up with. In the end the process might have taken 48 hours instead of being able to walk out with the car that day. But Jan and Mike continued to call me to make sure that I knew they were still working on things. In the end I ended up with a care that was way more then I expected and I owe it all to Jan and Mike at Prime Toyota for sticking with me through the whole process and not giving up. I would reccommend Jan Long at Prime Toyota in Saco ME to every woman who struggles with the stereotypical salesman. She never pressured me into something that I didnt want and always looked out for my best intrest. More

Both Brent and Jeff were personable and helpful. I worked primarily with Jeff and discovered he'd grown up in the town where I work and That I'd met his father. I realize part of the goal is to sell add-ons to the vehicle but in retrospect, I wish I'd stuck to my guns and not gone past my payment comfort zone. I'd definitely refer friends to Prime and to Brent in particular, and I expect that when I have occasion to make a vehicle purchase in the future, I'll look for Brent. More

My wife and I were most impressed by the low-key but knowledgable and friendly sales approach of Sales Representative Tom Hayes during the initial review and test drive of our new 2011 Avalon, followed knowledgable and friendly sales approach of Sales Representative Tom Hayes during the initial review and test drive of our new 2011 Avalon, followed by the respectful professionalism of Floor Manager John Kennedy and Tom during our price negotiations, when they either had or quickly got answers to our many questions about the vehicle and its features and negotiations concerning price considerations and options. Their willingness to allow us to think about the vehicle purchase overnight showed their confidence in both their product and their dealership. After final negotiations and arrangements were consummated over the phone, the new Avalon was ready for us at the agreed upon delivery time. Business Manager Jason Theriault was professional in his explanations of closing paperwork and answered our many questions very patiently and thoroughly. We are very pleased with our new Avalon and the Prime Toyota dealership. Our only disappointment was not getting to meet the owner, Ira Rosenberg, in person to compliment him on his obviously well-trained staff and for providing my wife and me with not only a very nice car, but with an unanticipated and uncommon enjoyable experience in our car purchase.
