I had been working with Liz Wallis for a few weeks through e-mails and voice mails trying to find a Pre-Owned Tacoma with specific options I wanted. Had been shopping for a new car for a bit and was interested in Toyota Prius but open to looking at other cars. Went in late on a Saturday with intent to look further at Prius. Was greeted @ dealership by Elizabeth Dawes, a very friendly and accommodating young salesperson. Before we even looked at cars Liz spent a long time interviewing me about what I was looking for overall and developed a list of cars to look at. She showed me two alternatives in detail before we got to the Prius and by that time I had a good understanding of where this vehicle might stand in my possibilities. She showed me through the Prius in detail and we took it for about a 25 minute test drive across all sorts of driving conditions. I left her with a list of questions with a list of questions which she subsequently dutifully researched. All in all she spent about 2 hours with me and was also very transparent about the fact that she has only been doing this work for a couple of months--when she didn't know something she was very honest about it and clearly worked hard to find out. Went back next week with my spouse for her to drive the vehicle. While I hadn't made an appointment and she was working with other customers, she and her colleagues worked very hard to get us through the process. I hadn't really intended to buy the vehicle that day, but the car that I really wanted was on the lot and I believe that we got a fair price. As was not trading a vehicle but planned on donating my current car to my son in college for his birthday, she had my old car detailed and gave us some balloons to make it a nice present. She figured all of this out by being a good listener!! Normally I am extremely price sensitive and objective re. purchases such as this, but there is real value to information and listening to customer needs and this level of service made me recognize that in the day of internet transparency on prices, transactions are afterall about relationships. Am not often given to hyperbole particularly in business dealings, but this was indeed great customer service. More

My wife and I were interested in the 2010 Prius and walked into Prime Toyota just before noon on a Wednesday to find out more about it. The sale person, Elizabeth Dawes, was friendly and very patient with us. She took time explaining the car and the difference in the models, III, IV and V, before we test drove a IV. Once we decided we wanted a model IV, she promptly arranged to find the color we wanted via the dealer network. The floor manager, John Kennedy, helped with the deal and was very considerate. We didn't feel pressured and were very confortable with our decision to purchase our car from this dealership. John said that they could have our car in a couple of days and it turns out that Elizabeth went to Massachusetts the next day, Thursday, and called us in the afternoon to say our car was in. We made an appointment to pick up the car on Saturday, but called Elizabeth in the morning to ask to pick up the car on Friday. It was Elizabeth's day off, but she came in at 11:00 am and spent about 2 hrs with us as we took delivery of the car. We are very pleased with our Prius IV and our overall experience at Prime Toyota. I had been researching which car to buy for a while as soon as I found out my car might not make it through the winter. I knew I would need to buy a much more reliable vehicle for my new job as a home care nurse, since I knew I would basicly be living out of it! But I was overwhelmed with all of the information I was finding out about buying a used car. I was recommended by a friend to visit Prime Toyota and to speak with Berto Arroyo in the Sales Department, and he was awesome! He walked me through a wide variety of different used cars until I was able to narrow it down to the car I really wanted, the Nissan Murano! He was very patient with me and made my first experience shopping for a car at a dealership enjoyable and really much easier than I was expecting. He answered all of the many questions I had and I was able to walk out feeling as though I made a very educated decision. I love my car, and I would strongly recommend Berto as the person to talk to if you're like me and need an experienced and knowledgable people-person to ease you through the car buying process. My recommendation extends to the entire staff at Prime Toyota in Maine because they were all very friendly and made me feel at home. More

My husband and I went to dealership to dealership getting lied to. Some using false Kelly bluebook info using 90210 as the zip, I'm in Maine….a lot different. I was just about ready to say forget it when I met a woman that said I should call Elizabeth Wallis at Prime Toyota in Saco. So even though I would probally SNAP if I heard even one more lie I called her. Liz, as I hear everyone call her, promptly answered and was able to see me as soon as I got there. When I arrived I was surprised to see the lot wasn't full of vultures, instead I was acknowledged and asked if I needed help finding something. I asked for Liz and was directed right to her. From our call she had already pulled a minivan out for us to look at. It was nice but not what I really saw myself driving even if my kids play soccer. Liz could see that so she said we should take a look around some of the other lots (there are many to choose from). Well we found our 2005 Suzuki Forenza. Next was Loan Time( nobody likes this part) but I can't believe it Liz showed us the Car Fax Report and the KBB report from the Saco, Maine Zip without me having to ask her. The car was stickered below this(good job Prime) not only that but when we got the loan papers to sign the price was lower than the sticker price(WOW)there are some waits when getting a loan but the waiting area is awesome so you don’t feel like it is long at all. Liz helped us through the tough day we had. She is wonderfu, I just wish all people had the ethics and attitude she has. We bought the Forenza from Liz. We love it. Thank you Liz Wallis. Well we had to go back for our 5000 mi oil change and tire rotation. The service there is top notch too. The only thing, I wish I could have met Ira to thank him for hiring such wonderful employees. Jeff handles internet sales. Since I lived 3 1/2 hours away, I plagued him with many questions. He addressed them all in a friendly and amusing manner. After the sale was complete, she didn't have to, but she went out to the new truck with me and setup my blue tooth and cell phone. It was a handy (not to mention SAFER) feature to use on my long ride home. Thanks Liz! There are closer Toyota dealers to me, but PRIME had better price, a personal referral from a previous customer who was very happy with their service, and the only lifetime warranty included when you bought a vehicle through them. I think it was a smart choice, going to PRIME when it came time to buy. More

I went to Prime Toyota on the recommendation of two co-workers who had very positive experiences with the dealership. Cody Bradway worked with me for 5 hours and couldn't have been more knowledgeable (He obviously LOVES cars!) and attentive. He truly heard what I was saying and that's a big strength in a salesperson as so many don't really listen. He grasped immediately my situation and was able to come up with some options that were possibilities and worked hard at getting me a price I could live with. The closer (don't remember his name) was too slick for my taste, but that's no reflection on Cody's genuineness. I drove off the lot in my "new" 07 RAV and even though it has only been two days, I am happy with the vehicle and the overall experience at Prime Toyota. I will definitely recommend Cody to my friends and family as a guy who obviously knows his stuff and enjoys what he's doing; his exhuberance is contageous! I'm a former Saturn owner (3 of them) mainly because of the fixed pricing and fantastic customer service, but I have a feeling that Prime Toyota may also be one of those special dealerships that keeps customers coming back. By far the worst new car purcase that I have ever had. I have purchased about 18 new cars in my 60 plus years VW Ford Volvo and many Subarus, My first Toyota. The extreme high pressure sales tactics diliberate attempts to confuse the buyer all contributed to a very unpleasant buying experience. They offered a free gas grill at the time and were quick to convince me I'd get a better price if I didn't opt to take it then offered a rediculas trade in for my car a pristine 05 subaru. Finnaly got a reasonable trade in offer but in consideration of the fact that I purchased a Totally loaded Toyota Highlander $43k 08 leftover with no dealer discount (they had it on the lot almost a year) I should have walked out but didn't--MY BADD--. They get an A+ for deception and agression! The final disgusting act was when the high profile owner (you probably see him on TV) called and wanted to know how he could make me happy I put the ball in his court---and nothing--except anger from him telling me he only makes $750 per car a blatient LIE this car was sold to me for aprox $4200 above their invoice. He also went into some detail to tell me that he donates generously to varios charities GREAT when you rip off people like he does you can afford to throw back a few crumbs. The Highlander is a great automobile but too bad the people that sell them ar so dispicaple. More
