I drive 100 miles to / from work each day and my beloved 2000 Cherokee has served me well. At 266,000 miles and with nothing wrong with it I had planned to keep it for three more years. But fuel is expensive and I figured out that at today's fuel prices, improving my mpg would essentially pay for a new vehicle. So I did my research and selected Prime Toyota where Tim Simpson worked hard to arrange a 3-door Yaris for me. What a remarkable vehicle! I'm only on my fourth tank of fuel and so far my average mileage has been greater than 45mpg. I wonder what it will be once the engine is broken in. I'm definitely amazed and grateful that my expectations for fuel savings have been exceeded. And this vehicle continues to surprise me each time I drive it. Forget what its outside dimensions are because this Yaris is huge on the inside. From the driver's seat, it's considerably wider and taller and more comfortable than what I had been driving and even the rear leg room is much greater even when I've moved the front seats all the way back. And what a remarkable dealership: Tim and Jason and Leigh Ann and Ira worked together to ensure that my transaction went smoothly and quickly. No surprises, no problems, and absolutely no pressure. I've been in sales for 15 years so I, too, could use those same sales and decision-encouragement tools towards them but from the very first moment we met, Tim honored me with respect and courtesy. For that, I'm especially grateful and I will joyfully return to purchase my next vehicle from him. In closing, I highly recommend that anyone in southern Maine or New Hampshire who's considering a Toyota visit Prime Toyota. Tim and his colleagues are first-rate and I'm glad to have had this chance to work with them. More

One distinction between Jeff at Prime and the bozo at the one of the competition sites is that the bozo tried to use scare tactics with me. Even after the sale, his demeanor didn't change from "must-get-sale" to "who-are-you-again?". He even helped me out for a class project I was involved in by purchasing ad space in a University publication. He goes out of his way to make sure I'm happy; because of this awesome treatment, Prime comes highly recommended. My husband was in the market for a new car and he purchased through Jeff as well. I have to admit i had never puchased a new car before the Tacoma i bought over at Prime in sunny Saco. We dicussed different options on various vehicles and i went home for a few days to think things over. Upon my return i requested Shaun because of the professionalism he had shown during my previous visit. To make a long story short Ira should recognize Shaun for the true professional that he is. Shaun is one of those special few that can get good read on folks and make them feel at home. In closing Shaun made my car buying experience a pleasure. We had tried two other dealerships in Maine and one in Massachusetts and were very discouraged. A friend suggested we contact Ramzi Karam at Prime because he had been well treated there. Ramzi was fantastic all the way through the process. He was kind enough to actually drive a Prius to our residence for us to have a first hand look. We never at any time felt like we were being 'sold' anything. Rather, he made us feel like we were sharing information that he was generously providing with nothing but our best interests at heart. The important thing is that Ramzi listens and clearly cares. There aren't many salespeople that you can say that about. Sales is an exchange of values and Ramzi and everyone at Prime understands that. We are telling all our friends about our very positive experience and encouraging them to visit Ramzi at Prime. Ramzi is the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He breaks the stereo-type that car salesman can't be trusted and are out to get you. He worked with me to find the right car. Actually I thought I had the right vehicle and then Ramzi said he didn't like the report it got after being examined by the service garage and told me I shouldn't buy the vehicle. We then searched for another vehicle that turned out to be better than the first and he made the loan process as smooth as possible. I recommend Ramzi to everyone I know and I also tell them they can learn the art of sales by watching and listening to him. Working in the service industry I can appreciate someone who goes out of their way for you and that is Ramzi all the way!!! More
Shaun Spencer of Prime Toyota was the reason that we bought a 2009 Toyota Prius. He got us very close to the price that we wanted to pay. We dealt with Mr. Karam (Ramzi) on two occasions. Once to buy our daughter a used car several years ago and then to buy a new Camry in 2006. No beating around the bush; salesman didn't have to run back and forth dickering with some "unknown" person in the back room.
