I had anxieties about bringing my car in as other places had left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment I got there. had left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment I got there. More
The dealership has new owners so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It went as well as expected. I was there for 3 hours, not great, but they did lots of maintenance. When I got in my car it felt new, more zip expect. It went as well as expected. I was there for 3 hours, not great, but they did lots of maintenance. They had a car on the lot that was close to the model we wanted, and the price was not inflated with extra fees above the MSRP, so we bought it. James Ellis, the sales person we dealt with, was great! Jame wanted, and the price was not inflated with extra fees above the MSRP, so we bought it. James Ellis, the sales person we dealt with, was great! James asked the right questions to figure out what we were looking for in a car and made a couple of suggestions about other models that might work for us. After test driving 3 different cars, we were confident that the car we bought was perfect for us. We are thankful to James for making this a pleasant experience. More
Once again Berto Arroyo provided us with as painless as possible car buying experience. Berto has sold us and our friends no less than 10 vehicles and each interaction has been smooth and professional. We possible car buying experience. Berto has sold us and our friends no less than 10 vehicles and each interaction has been smooth and professional. We picked up our new 4Runner yesterday and although the place was crazy busy Berto moved us through the process as quickly as possible. Love the guy, he is the BEST. Berto is the #1 reason we keep returning to IRA and why we recommend him to our friends and family. More
Decent communication via text and email. Text review of vehicle inspection was a nice feature, but the detailed bill was confusing and did not clearly explain the charges. There was no prior discussion of vehicle inspection was a nice feature, but the detailed bill was confusing and did not clearly explain the charges. There was no prior discussion of a price estimate and would have liked better communication about the estimates. The work seemed to have been done correctly (too soon to tell if it wasn’t) and the multi-point inspection was very thorough (a lot better than Lee Toyota in Brunswick). The wait was extremely long. I did have to reschedule last minute to later in the day so they were very accommodating to meet my needs and last minute request. However, even with an appointment time I was there for 2 hours before the technical even got to my vehicle. In total I was waiting for 4 hours for an oil change, a multipoint inspection, and battery check. Pricing seemed average. More
I bought a used car through Ira (then Prime) Toyota way back in fall of 2020, and when I bought it I noticed that the back hatch handle wasn't working right and was sticky. They took it back and a tech loo back in fall of 2020, and when I bought it I noticed that the back hatch handle wasn't working right and was sticky. They took it back and a tech looked at it, said there was some gunk in there and that some WD-40 had fixed it. A week later, obviously, it starts acting up again. At the time I figured, well, used car sales is used car sales and I get what I get, but I also felt vaguely cheated. So why is this a five star review? Well, I went a year and half dealing with this problem because I never wanted to pay the couple hundred bucks or whatever to fix it, me being pretty broke through most of the pandemic, until last week when it was frustrating me so badly I thought "screw it, why don't I call the dealership and tell them I think I was cheated and that they should fix it". Much to my astonishment, the used car manager Jeff had no problem acknowledging that if the tech made an oversight and didn't notice a problem with the latch, that was on them, and they should fix it. This morning they took the latch assembly apart and noticed that there was some bad rust up in there that must have been there the whole time, and they replaced it for free in only a couple of hours. I'd never have expected that level of integrity from a car dealership, and I can say happily that I would buy from Ira Toyota again. More
Service people are not well trained. I had two different service reps try to get me to pay $1300 for something covered by my warranty and extended warranty. Had I not known ahead of time that it was already service reps try to get me to pay $1300 for something covered by my warranty and extended warranty. Had I not known ahead of time that it was already covered, I would have gotten a huge bill. More
