Service people are not well trained. I had two different service reps try to get me to pay $1300 for something covered by my warranty and extended warranty. I had an 8:45am appointment is there the other day that I had my car towed to. Several hours went by and I heard nothing. I finally was able to talk to someone because the representative that they had assign had my car towed to. Several hours went by and I heard nothing. I finally was able to talk to someone because the representative that they had assigned to my appointment wasn’t even there. They quoted me over $4,600 to replace the wiring harness. My friend who is a mechanic insisted on looking under the hood when I stopped by the dealership and saw that some wiring needed to be replaced, not the entire harness. I had my car towed to a different garage and they fixed it for under $25 in parts and it took about 30 minutes of labor. The representative at Ira insisted for my insurance to cover it and for me to fix it there. I didn’t want to pay the $500 deductible and give my business to them at that point. Before I left they quoted me $496 to get the car repaired if the insurance would approve the repair instead of the initial $4,600 to replace the wiring harness. I had to pay $155 just for the diagnostics and then they charged me a $25 service fee, so I paid $180 for nothing and wasted a lot of my time. I will never do business there again or direct my friends and family to the service center there. More
