Let me start by saying we have been going to Prime for over 12 years.. This visit was different, it was the first car for our daughter. We spoke to Berto and Rob, they knew what we wanted and were looking over 12 years.. This visit was different, it was the first car for our daughter. We spoke to Berto and Rob, they knew what we wanted and were looking for.. we travel from MA to Maine just because we trust and know there is no haggling, and we are treated like family each and every time. Berto kept an eye out, called us kept us apprised, and found the perfect car. Reliable, all wheel drive, and most of all safe. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with this decision.. We knew hands down we were getting what we wanted, the best deal, and had no questions about it. My daughter is happy, and Toyota has gained a new lifetime customer. Prime Auto Group is deceptive in its practice. I purchased a brand new 2018 Hyundai Sonata from Prime Hyundai in Saco prior to them closing the dealership. I purchased the car in October. In Decemb purchased a brand new 2018 Hyundai Sonata from Prime Hyundai in Saco prior to them closing the dealership. I purchased the car in October. In December I had snow tires put onto the car and changed them out in April 2019. Over the summer of 2019, I spent three months out of the country, and the car was not driven. Then again in the winter of 2019/2020, I had snow tires on the car. When I placed the snow tires on this month, I was told by the tire shop that all four of my regular tires were bald and would no longer pass inspection. I asked how was this possible given they were only two years old, and given my use of snow tires for two seasons and my summer travel, the tires were barely used. The tire shop said that many dealerships will use older tires on new cars without letting the owners know. When I called Prime Auto, they denied doing this, but also refused to explain how four tires failed with less than 30,000 miles on the car! They simply wanted to place blame on the service department for not alerting me to the fact that the tires were failing. Never have I had to replace all four tires within the first two years of owning a vehicle. I would beware of this practice and avoid purchasing a vehicle from Prime Auto group. More
