*sigh* Yup, Im starting to think these people have been trying to swindle me from the start. First off this whole situation with the covid 19 makes for abnormal situations. My advice for you if your lookin trying to swindle me from the start. First off this whole situation with the covid 19 makes for abnormal situations. My advice for you if your looking at this post is to refuse to have them "deliver" the car to you. And just go to the dealer and see it yourself, by yourself, stay away from everyone and leave, then talk on the phone. Just do not do what I did, everything is NOT in your favor in these covid times. Your not going to get 0% APR either. Not here. Even if your score is decent. Like mine (694). I got a 6.1%. That was after he checkEd my credit 4 times... I said yes once. That doesn't mean you can do that. I don't believe you when you tell me that's the best I can do. When my bank said they'd give me 4.4 with debt protection. But I wanted a car and sure wasn't gonna get one anytime soon with a bank right now that you can't even walk into. But this is how this bad sale started.. They start off by saying, they will deliver it to you to test drive for free. Not true. They don't want to drive it out to you unless you literally do all the paperwork as if you've ALREADY BOUGHT the car. And said if u don't like it they will rip it all up as if it never happened. OK whatever, I took there word for it. It was raining the day they came to my house. They just straight up did not mention it had damage and didn't show any paperwork of such. (Legally supposed to tell you. They didn't.) I'm 30 years old and wow, I didn't know they were trying to treat me like I'm 18 till yesterday. I haven't had that happen in such a long time, I didn't catch it at first, and was being polite. When the dealer came to my house he "forgot" my spare key. Went to the dealer a day after ( had to work) brought up the damage, to my kicker panel and tire. After some talking they replaced the tire with a "new" one. Which wasn't new...which is illegal and actually states so IN THE PAPERWORK THEY GAVE ME. You have to agree to that, used or rebuilt parts, and sign a document for It which they don't have. This falls underneath inspection warranty, and Maines lemon law. Then they didn't rotate them. 2 new tires on the back and 2 worn tires on the front...like are you serious.. Your supposed to do the opposite. So I ended up just doing that myself. Now my god xxxx second key they "forgot". The sales person John yesterday said it is in there other building and it's "shut down" right now...this is when my xx meter went off. So I played the game. i asked, "oh was there an outbreak of covid-19 there?" He said no. And gave a long pause. I just looked at the guy like, "..what are you saying right now?" As if what he said would make me not interested in my spare key. Then he said "We don't have the keys right now to get in that building." Mind you the manager Steve is right there on his computer not paying attention to the situation. So your trying to tell me, if someone wanted one of those cars in that building you own accross the street that, you couldn't have them drive away with it if they bought it that day? Yup lies lies and more lies. I told him very firmly that I needed two keys for this deal when I was signing paperwork. For the obvious! What if you lose the other! When you buy a car no matter what, you always get two keys/fobs. I can't believe I have to even say that. And I feel as if they are gonna try to MAKE ME BUY MY OWN SECOND KEY. I don't think so, this is the last thing I need from you then I will be out of your hair forever. So stop playing these games. Nothing in the paper said I only get one key. I made it very clear I need hat other key. WHO SHOWS UP WITH ONE KEY!! See there's a huge profit margin on those for them and don't let them sweet talk you into believing different. The blank key, and fob and chip inside are no more than 10 bucks for them liquid price. It's a double edge sword for the consumer, that's why it's so expensive. Maybe if your older than 30 you'll get the respect you deserve here without the attempt of little kid games being played on you. I'm just in awe of this and can't believe I'm actually having to post this..I just haven't had to play the "I'm not dumb and young game" in a very long time. Maybe I look a lot younger than 30? I don't think so. I just don't get it. I'm a self taught mechanic, I've fixed %90 of breakdowns on all my cars since I was 18, I did precision manual machining for 5 years, and am I machine operator of a 4 story machine for over 3 years now. I know what I'm doing and talking about. In all it wasn't the experience I expected from a dealership. That rocker panel damage put the icing on the cake...if I could post a picture of it here. On one hand you might say "how did you not see that.." and on the other, you'd say "they sold the car like that to you!?" The passenger door has damage to the bottom of it too but I can live with that, but the rocker panel is way worse of an ugly sight. And looks like a blow torch tried to fix it.... And I Corey Sacco, as of now, does not approve of Toyota Prime Saco. I recommend you hold out, and buy closer to 2021. ;) More
