My wife and I were shopping for a used SUV for her and we are glad that we stopped at Ira. Justin the salesman showed us a few vehicles before we decided on the Highlander but I think the best thing he did are glad that we stopped at Ira. Justin the salesman showed us a few vehicles before we decided on the Highlander but I think the best thing he did was sit with us and ask a series of questions as to what exactly we were looking for and what were the most important features (cost,depreciation value, size, comfort etc.). I think the questions really enabled him to find the right vehicle for my wife. We left that day with the vehicle and have been very happy with the purchase. No hassles and great service. Even better when we asked for "official" Highlander floor mats after we closed the deal, Justin checked into it, returned a few minutes later and asked if we wanted carpet or rubber. I actually thought the response was going to be "sorry, we can't accomodate that request". That has been the repsonse from other dealers in the past, unless of course you want to buy them. Recently we had a piece of the roof rack trim fall off the car. We called Ira and Justin took care of getting a replacement....no questions asked. Bottom line, we have owned three Toyotas and would definately return to Ira for future purchases. More
I shopped Toyota extensively on the Internet, but the dealers were only interested in getting me "in the door". By the time I reached IRA, I knew the price was RIGHT - and Gino was honest, straight-fore dealers were only interested in getting me "in the door". By the time I reached IRA, I knew the price was RIGHT - and Gino was honest, straight-foreward, and easy-going. The car was the "advetised special" - AND IT WAS! I saved nearly $1200. over the other dealers!! The financing rate offered (based on my credit) was appropriate and reasonable, and I was driving off the lot in a few hours. For a change, the process of buying the car didn't detract from the joy of getting a new car. Jennine, the title clerk, made the final paperwork stress-free and pleasant. More

My main reason for submitting this review is to praise the efforts of Danny Levesque in my recent car purchase (3/31/09 used 2008 4 runner). Overall I was impressed with the IRA organization, however I fe the efforts of Danny Levesque in my recent car purchase (3/31/09 used 2008 4 runner). Overall I was impressed with the IRA organization, however I feel that Danny went out of his way to make this a successful transaction. Negotiations were professional and without emotion. Deliverables ( I needed a hitch added) were met promptly as promised. Danny knew all about the car and answered all questions clearly and to my satisfaction. It was the end of the month and the final paperwork was not handled as well as it could have been by another person. I would have appreciated having the paperwork explained rather than just being told to "sign here". But since it was the end of the month and the dealership was busy, it was understandable. I will tell my friends and family about my experience and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from IRA and from Danny. My wife and I purchased our second vehicle (a 2009 Toyota Venza) in less than 12 months from Seth at Ira Toyota in Manchester. Our experience last year when we purchased our 2008 Rav4 was so pleasant that we didn't want to go anywhere else. We were happy that the vehicle we really wanted to buy was one that is sold by Toyota. It may sound like I'm laying it on a little thick here, but there's a reason I feel this strongly. When I was younger, I worked for 11 years at a car dealership owned by my father and my uncle. Since my family got out of the auto business (13 years ago), Ira is the first dealership that I have felt treats customers the way my family did. I never felt pressure to buy the car, rather, I felt like they were helping me to purchase it. When it comes time to buy our next car, I hope Toyota or Scion are offering the vehicle we want so we can again purchase from Seth. More

First of all, Ira Toyota did a great job with for hiring Derek! Not only was he very friendly and helpful, but gave great service! Walking in I was very confused and not sure of buying a car. I started my purchase over the internet. I wasn't really planning on purchasing that day and I wasn't thinking of getting a Toyota at first. I thought I would take a look. I made an appointment and was contacted by Seth who was very kind. When I arrived, we started talking about the kind of car I would like. Based on what I told Seth, he chose a car for me to test drive. The car he picked out ended up have everything I thought I wanted and things I didn't know were available. In the end the car seemed to be there just for me and I wouldn't have even gotten a chance to see it if it wasn't for Seth. I was able to get a god price on the car. Everyone was very friendly. Even though it was busy, I was not forced into anything or rushed. I was given all the time that I needed to make my final decision. I would highly recommend IRA toyota and Seth. More

The financial manager - Josh Glazier, was fast talking, indirect and not immediate. Best rates were not disclosed immediately and only one bank was contacted. An extended warranty was pushed heavily and many costs/fees were explained quickly, too quick. I have since refinanced. There was also an issue with unsigned paperwork. Several days after purchasing my vehicle, I was contacted regarding more paperwork to be signed. I was asked to return to the dealership AGAIN, but I could not because I was already out of state. Once again, albeit a minor issue, a headache to learn that someone at the dealership did not complete all needed paperwork thus having to track me down to get things done. Not a 'smooth' sale! The cleanliness of the new vehicle upon delivery was not acceptable - sticky residue from the transport plastic remained on the roof and hood; the interior was not spotless with some dirt on the floor and a stain on the center console. The pick up bed had some sand/dirt and several leaves were found between the bed and cab. The engine compartment had many leaves under the hood and was not cleaned. The tires had three different air pressure levels - none of which were set at correct levels forcing another minor conern. Vehicle was delivered with a 6" x 8" stain on the hood. Stain was a factory defect located under the clearcoat and under the paint. Upon returning to the dealer for service regarding this issue, I met with Rosie Cray and she was very professional and put me in contact with the service manager - Chuck Briggs. He denied immediate repair and after much arguing and debate, the needed repair was finally approved. Being an out of state buyer, I was first told to take the truck to my local body shop or dealer in Michigan for warranty repair because of my timetable needing to return to Michigan where I reside. I found that to be ludicrous as it was purchased two days prior from IRA. The service manager should have responded in a more positive light and offered a solution without a 30 minute arguement/debate. If he or the dealership thought for one second that a customer is going to accept a vehicle with a factory blemish and attempt to have it repaired elswhere, it is offering poor customer service. I was very disappointed in how this was handled. As it happened, I was forced to retun to Michigan three days late and missed 2 days of work. The price was right, but sadly, few other things were. Price does sell! More
