I worked with Matt Lewis, who was the salesperson I dealt with to purchase the vehicle. Although it took over a month from when I bought vehicle, Matt was able to have ekeys respond to my residence and made a spare key for the vehicle, which was billed to Ira Toyota. The sale was already done and Matt did not have to go out of his way for this, but he and Ira Toyota did the right thing and had the spare key made. Top notch. More

Deceitful Dealership, Pressured Sales Visited dealership to view a used car that I wanted to test drive. Took the car for a test drive and was asked about making a deal to purchase the car Visited dealership to view a used car that I wanted to test drive. Took the car for a test drive and was asked about making a deal to purchase the car. I said that I wanted to come back the next day with someone else to have them look at it as well as it was night time when I visited. After being asked a few times about trying to close a sale on the car right then, and after I said that I didn't want to make a purchase right away the sales rep said Ok and walked to the office for a minute before we were going to part ways until the next day. The rep returned with a sales manager who came to pursue the sale further. The last thing I want at a dealership is to pressured into a sale after I have said that I don't want to buy right after only a 15 minutes visit. After being "sold" by the sales manager that was brought over without being requested, I ended up saying yes to getting the car. What ensued was dozens of papers pushed across the desk for dozens of signatures for some things that weren't even mentioned or explained. The car ended up having a piece of the front bumper cracked off in the very front of the car, a sunroof that makes a loud sound when opening/closing and a few other minor issues that were certainly not mentioned by anyone from the dealership. The remote start functionality of the car was touted although it didn't actually connect to my phone since they apparently left all the past owner's personal data stored in the car (names, home address, work address, phone numbers, dozens of recent locations, etc). Remote control app barely functions and is rated 2/5 stars (which I wasn't aware originally). Fees were added onto the car's price that I originally thought it was and I was not told about and I only saw them on the final sale paper that was casually slid across the desk for the 30th signature. Random services for tire replacements and other add-ons were added to the bill without my request or consent. The most disconcerting part of this experience was that I somehow left my large laptop bag and laptop inside the vehicle upon arrival to pickup the car. Somewhere during this time my laptop was "misplaced" although I had left it in my old car parked out front. I soon drove my old car next to the new car to unload the few items I had left in the car. I later realized my laptop was missing. I checked security cameras at my work to confirm that I had brought it to the dealership. It was quite clear that my old car was empty and had nothing inside as we double checked before I left. I called the dealership asking for help locating it as it is an extremely expensive laptop with all my work and personal information on it. They claimed the cameras they have are "fake" and don't actually record where my car was parked. After I pursued further and contacted the sales manager, floor manager, my sales rep, and another manager, they "found" my laptop in my old car "underneath the floor mat". I have never moved a floor matt to put something underneath it because that makes no sense, especially something like my laptop that would get crushed. I'm not going to go ahead and say that someone from the dealership is a thief and was trying to get away with stealing a $2000 laptop.. but I will say that I didn't put it under my floor matt and I'm not blind. When I checked over my old car multiple times and walked around it before parting with it and there was no laptop inside. My family and I have been going to Toyota in Acton for over 25 years with unbelievably great experiences every time, but we will never return to this Manchester dealership again. More
