Toyota of Manchester replaced both my front and back brakes in Nov. 2023 at cost of over $1,400. (Mileage was 37808) The brakes smelled like they were burning so I drove 120 mi. roundtrip from New Lond brakes in Nov. 2023 at cost of over $1,400. (Mileage was 37808) The brakes smelled like they were burning so I drove 120 mi. roundtrip from New London in December and service dept "checked brakes" and assured me "no problem.". Invoice 970196. Was told smell is to be expected with new brakes. In May the back brakes sounded like metal on metal. Car was unsafe to drive. Took it to local shop (Auto Advisors in Springfield. Pads, Rotors for rear brakes total worn out. Calipers misfuntioned. Had to replace rear brakes, rotors, etc after only 6,500 miles at cost of $947. I have purchased/leased 3 RAV4's and my wife has purchased 2 all from Toyota of Manchester. We are in market for new Highlander for my wife, but do not feel we can trust service dept at this dealership any longer. More

After waiting 2 hours for my scheduled appointment, I requested an update. Only then did they move my car to the service area. They only attended to it for 15 minutes. 5th attempt to get fabric produ requested an update. Only then did they move my car to the service area. Did like this dealership until a few months ago. Sales person was supposed to call me to test drive a new car once one came in. That was in June. Never heard from him. Today I went to have my car serviced, basic oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would be about an hour and 15 minutes. Was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Only explanation was that the shop was running behind. And there were only three technicians. Unfortunately we were told this after we sat there for almost 3 hours. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend this dealership for a new car nor service. More
