My service was completed on Monday, November 22nd. At that time I was told I would be given a call back at the latest Monday, November 29th. The call back was to let me know if JM Lexus or Lexus would pa that time I was told I would be given a call back at the latest Monday, November 29th. The call back was to let me know if JM Lexus or Lexus would pay for the repair of my PKSB. On Wednesday, November 17th I got in to my car and noticed a service light on in my car. As soon as this light went on I immediately called JM Lexus because I was concerned. I looked up what the light meant and saw it was the PKSB light. I spoke to a man on the phone. I told him I had just gotten in my car and the PKSB light went on. He asked why I was calling. I told him I wanted to make an appointment to have this fixed. This man was seemed confused and wasn’t sure in his words “what the big deal was”. He was less than helpful and so I decided to call back. I called back, made and appointment and had my car serviced. My husband was called and told this repair would cost us $1000.00. My husband told the person he spoke to we would not be fixing the PKSB. I picked up my car. I wanted to know what this PKSB was. Tim/Tom showed me the sensor. I have an app on my phone that gives me a vehicle health report and collision assistance. I have not had a collision, fender bender, unfortunate mishap or any other circumstance that would cause the PKSB to malfunction. I was in complete shock when Conrad Backer told me this was not under warranty. Conrad and I both took pictures of this tiny sensor. Conrad proceeded to push on the sensor. Why? To make the scratch look bigger or worse? I don’t see how pushing the sensor can help. Please check your video cameras. There are no other marks on my car. I can not for the life of me understand how or why Lexus makes a product so cheap a twig or pebble could do such damage. There is a small mark on the sensor. How is that possible you make such a cheap product? To add insult to injury, Conrad promised a call and I am still waiting a week later. No phone call, no email, no text. Nothing. No communication from anyone at JM Lexus. I also had an interesting conversation with an older gentleman named Tim or Tom. He treated me like I was an idiot. When I dropped off my car I asked for someone to take a look at the speaker in my car. No one can hear me when I am on the phone. Tim/Tom made a rude comment about the vents being pointed toward the speaker. I felt like he was trying to blame me for people not being able to hear me. This was insulting and uncalled for. Am I so stupid I didn’t think of that or try to move the vents? I have. My speaker still isn’t working. To be fair, we did make two phone calls while I was there. My speaker isn’t working again. Good times. Would I buy another Lexus? Most likely, no, but certainly not from JM Lexus. The service department is terrible and the car is made so cheap a twig of people can do serious damage. More
