Culture is everything and without it you simply have a collection of individuals. To truly thrive in todays business climate you must distinguish yourself from all competitors and that can only be accomplished through values, culture and the personal commitments that your staff/associates take to live those values and culture. They are the face and front line of your organization. Sans that JM Lexus is one of the largest dealerships in the S. Florida market, complacency can and will erode all the quality work that has been done to get you to where you are today. Thus investing in your staff/associates, supporting them, providing them a moral reason behind the values & culture, and then having owners/managers live those values is imperative. Your greatest asset will never appear on your balance sheet and that is your people. Therefore, investing in them, their abilities, and providing them core values that are universally honored by all stake holders will re-establish what it means to work for JM Lexus. You must always ask the question, does the name on the front of the jersey mean more than the one on the back. And in asking your staff/associates such a question, what is ownerships/management doing to demonstrate that commitment and value. It sounds simple and obvious, but with an economy that will be impacted due to COVID, having the right people with the right values will enable a business to navigate bad economies. What it can't do is navigate poor or ineffective leadership.
