Slow start to service appt. Arrived a reasonable 5 mins. before appt. Service rep Chris was a no-show. Employee at desk found another, Richard, who was excellent. However, time to leave car off for service was way too slow. Time in to dealer and out with a loaner was 95 minutes on top of a 40 min. drive to get there. J M Lexus seems to be a victim of their own success, in that the dealership cannot handle the service demand volume. I'll help them out and find a service center closer to home. More

prepaid maintenance agreement a ripoff Salesman pitched all the savings I would get from a prepaid maintenance agreement. All lies. Only covered a few low cost maintenance appointments. When I got to the first high cost appointment, it wasn't covered. So I paid about 2.5X the cost of maintenance for the first 25K miles. Raised the issue to the dealership, where I had been leasing cars for almost 20 years; their answer was that I had signed the agreement, so it was my problem. One salesman, who had always been helpful, escalated to the sales manager. I had moved to another state, so I guess future business wasn't a consideration so they were content to tell me it was my problem. The person who sold me the maintenance agreement is no longer with the dealership. More
