In our case, we offered a lower price, it was rejected. about 1 weeks later they reduced the price within a few hundred dollars. It became a gambling experience, which gave my wife a bit of angst. We called the dealer that we would buy the car at the reduced price and they had the car prepared for delivery. Even the paperwork was prepared, however it took about 3 hours to take possession of the car due to back office delays. In my opinion nothing has changed in the last 3 years when I leased my first car from JM. At that time it took 5 hours. Thankfully they have a snack bar and a comfortable waiting area. The bright side was Alex Raymond who was the face of JM at this time. He made the process bearable. He was apologetic for the delays and helpful, guiding us through the purchase-delivery process.. Purchasing your Certified Used Lexus My wife and I were greeted within 20 seconds of walking in the door, even though the lady concerned was on the telephone to someone at the time. She My wife and I were greeted within 20 seconds of walking in the door, even though the lady concerned was on the telephone to someone at the time. She let Michael Robbins know that we had arrived, he was expecting us but unsure of the ETA. Michael was with us within a couple of minutes. He had everything ready for our visit. He collected our trade-in keys and gave them to the person who would evaluate the trade in. We had a quote from KBB online of which the dealership had a copy. However, after the evaluation we were told that we would be paid more for our trade-in than KBB had indicated. I wonder how many dealerships would actually do that? Michael took us out for a test drive in the LS460 we had come to see and the car was immaculate. We completed the deal and were driving our new car (well, new to us) down Sample Road in no time. A great experience. This is the fourth car I have purchased from JM Lexus and every experience has been excellent. Thank you Michael, we will call you when my wife decides to trade her IS350C. More
