buying a car takes too long JM Lexus started a one price program. Marketing dictates the 1st ask price and then reduces it periodically. In our case, we offered a lower price, it was rejected. about 1 weeks later they reduced the price within a few hundred dollars. It became a gambling experience, which gave my wife a bit of angst. We called the dealer that we would buy the car at the reduced price and they had the car prepared for delivery. Even the paperwork was prepared, however it took about 3 hours to take possession of the car due to back office delays. In my opinion nothing has changed in the last 3 years when I leased my first car from JM. At that time it took 5 hours. Thankfully they have a snack bar and a comfortable waiting area. The bright side was Alex Raymond who was the face of JM at this time. He made the process bearable. He was apologetic for the delays and helpful, guiding us through the purchase-delivery process..
