I Found A Car Dealer I Could Love Buying a car should be a joyous occasion...but for whatever reason, many dealers make the experience torturous. There are dozens of YouTube videos that try to arm would be a joyous occasion...but for whatever reason, many dealers make the experience torturous. There are dozens of YouTube videos that try to arm would-be buyers with tips to defend themselves against dealer sales tactics. [I think I viewed all of them in preparation of buying my new car.]. Dealer after dealer presented their “best price” online, accompanied by micro-type explaining that hundreds of dollars of dealer fees, doc fees, registrations fees etc. would also be loaded on. Beyond that, no dealer was willing to commit to a price until I came into the dealership. After trying to find a more honest approach, I happened upon JM Lexus, near Boca Raton; what a breath of fresh air! They offered a true “best price” with no dealer fee, no doc fee, no bloated registration fee. And I was never handed off to a Finance Manager to try to strongarm me into buying a bunch of extra stuff that I didn’t want. My sales consultant, Dario was my single point of contact. He was straight-forward, competent and never tried to play any tricks at any time during the entire process. I know JM Lexus made some money and that I saved some money. Best yet, I drove away in my new car feeling joyous....as it should be. More
