credit fraud 3 days (3/2/16) after I purchased my Camaro, they ran another application with my information with a co-applicant that I don't know. I found out after 3 days (3/2/16) after I purchased my Camaro, they ran another application with my information with a co-applicant that I don't know. I found out after coming back from my vacation and finding letters from 4 different banks for me and the co-applicant, sent to my address ( all bank applications came from JN Chevrolet). I immediately called all 4 banks and the credit bureau, first to create a credit fraud alert and to confirm if all these inquiries came from just JN Chevrolet, which they verified it did. On March 29, I talked to Jeff Lee ( the general sales manager) regarding my concern, armed with all the letters I received. While they admitted running an application on 3/2 under the same name of the person that I had as a co-applicant, they denied running my information. Even after giving me a copy of Chase and Wells Fargo application status with my name and the co-applicants name. I don't know how they can just flat out deny this big mistake they made. Jeff followed up with a phone call on 3/30 only to stay with his story and deny falsely running my application. My credit score dropped cause of all the excessive inquiries thanks to their mistake- unacceptable service!!!! More
