Background: We didn't know for sure what car or model we wanted, so based on the criteria we provided Fred got us keys to several cars. He let us test drive each vehicle, on our own, which is something no other local dealership allows. That independence allowed us time to really get to know the car. After we made our selection, Fred was able to locate the actual vehicle we wanted. We negotiated a purchase price by phone last Friday afternoon. We closed the transaction yesterday (Tuesday).
