As a perfectionist, my high expectations are part of the reason we own three Mercedes. Your detailer, who readies vehicles for folks like us who like to drive away in a spotlessly cleaned new purchase, appears to need more detailed supervision for us perfectionists. Judging from our wait times, he must have had at least an hour for more for the prep detailing: e.g., to clean the windows without leaving streaks and spots (I did that today myself), and wipe down all the exposed interior surfaces to remove dust on areas around instrument cluster) and light scuffs of dust/dirt on padded door seals, front and rear. I also had to remove a piece of scotch tape about 1-1/2 inches long from the inside bottom of the windshield (with razor blade and then mineral spirits, then window cleaner). It’s not that I mind doing that myself, but I expect more and don’t think you’re getting the quality workmanship from the person(s) who prepped our 2018 C300 4Matic. (Hence, the “fair” rating below for Quality of Work.) Blayne was terrific in seeing to other prep issues we had noticed before leaving (looked like black fur from a short-haired dog on the pure white rear door jambs; and waxy scaly residue on rear climate control outlet grills.) But overall, Jackie Cooper is like a second home for us with our Mercedes, and was our first stop on our mission to replace the GLA250 we purchased there a year ago. And we were very fortunate to have Blayne take excellent care of us. More
