I was in the market for a specific vehicle. An S-Class Mercedes. I worked with Brandon Grow at the dealership. I am not a shopper. I know exactly what I want and don't want to mess around. My time was ext Mercedes. I worked with Brandon Grow at the dealership. I am not a shopper. I know exactly what I want and don't want to mess around. My time was extremely limited. When I arrived at the dealership, the vehicle I had selected online available and ready to go. Look, I know what this car is and should be. It was really a matter of determining if the vehicle was in the condition advertised (as they are not with so many online vehicles). It's surprising how much can be hidden even with scores of photos. I was pleasantly surprised that the car was in better condition than the photos. Getting into the car, it was apparent it was well-cared for as a proper Mercedes should be. Many previous models at other dealers were not. After a short test drive, I was ready. Having done my homework on the vehicle, I knew they weren't going to deal too much on price, and they didn't. I got them to reduce on BS fee, all in all it was already very aggressively priced. I was going to buy the car. I learned from my other recent vehicle purchase not to pay fully in cash. I financed a little over 50% of the price just so I could get out of there and not have to explain why I pay cash for my cars (because I save my money instead of pay interest on it and banks pay no interest anyway). This helps the dealership make a little more money. I generally pay the cars of in about 3 or 4 months anyway. Financing was a breeze. I had a few lenders of my own who approved the small loan ($15K) but I went ahead and followed their dog-and-pony show about financing with them, blah blah blah. Their associated lender was competitive so we went with them to expedite the transaction. The finance manager tried to sell me a service agreement. I opted to follow Consumer Reports advice on auto repair service agreements "Buy a well made quality car and it won't break down all the time" they are never a good deal 90% of the time and just add expense to your purchase. Overall my experience was very good at the dealership. Brandon Grow did a good job writing up the deal and finance was fast and painless. They delivered the car the next day, detailed and with a full tank of gas. It was nice to go to a dealership where they accommodated my needs, provided the right car, didn't try to blow smoke or gaslight me. When we got down to brass tacks, everything was right in front of me and no slimy tricks or deception. I really appreciate the professional style of this place and wish them much success. Now as for if I would ever buy a Mitsubishi in a million years, that is another story. They have a fine selection of pre-owned vehicles. More
