NIGHTMARE....I (unfortunately) had to have this dealership work on my Volvo many times over the last 9 years. They are TERRIBLE. It has been the worst service experience I have ever had. The la dealership work on my Volvo many times over the last 9 years. They are TERRIBLE. It has been the worst service experience I have ever had. The last time I went there, I worked with Jamie Bell. After promising me the car the next day, he lost my keys, then called every 3 days over the next 2 1/2 weeks telling me that another part broke - Every 3 days??? I finally had to go in person and DEMAND my car back. They were NOT able to provide me with the parts that were replaced. I don't trust them and will NEVER return. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE and DON'T WORK WITH JAMIE BELL (now at Boston Volvo) More
I brought my RAV4 in for service. The tech "forgot" to tighten a bolt on the timing gear, and 500 yards down the road, the car made a loud "bang" noise and died in the middle of the street. After 2 attem tighten a bolt on the timing gear, and 500 yards down the road, the car made a loud "bang" noise and died in the middle of the street. After 2 attempts to "fix my engine" that was damaged due to the bolt not being secure, the check engine light kept coming back on. Their final assessment was that now I needed a new computer. Another dealership diagnosed the problem and determined that Jaffarian did not do the engine repair properly and that my car was not to be driven. They determined I needed a new engine. The end result is that they gave me a decent price on a new RAV4, but not without much aggrevation and getting my attorney involved. Even the delivery of the new vehicle was not smooth and they never installed a front bracket for my front plate. The only reason I purchased a vehicle from them, was because I felt I HAD to buy from them, because they owed me something in return for ruining my original RAV4. More
After selling my car that was paid off, I was told by the Toyota ext. warranty dept that a check would be cut by Jaffarian. I visted the bus manager (Steve Wirtz) three weeks ago and he told me to wait for t Toyota ext. warranty dept that a check would be cut by Jaffarian. I visted the bus manager (Steve Wirtz) three weeks ago and he told me to wait for the final payoff note and then a check would be cut. The payoff letter arrived and I once again visited Steve and now the story cahnges to expect the check 4-6 weeks. This is unreal!. I had the manager speak to Gary Jaffarian nad they told me the same line. I then called the Toyota corp office and was told that most dealerships will cut the check on the spot but some can make you wait as long as 30 days. Word to the wise...get everything in writing form these people because the story changes constantly. And the Red phone..A BIG JOKE!. As I left the business office Steve tossed his business card at me and wouldnt even make eye contact or shake my hand. Boy Jaffarian do you forget your customers 12 months after the sale?. The worst customer service I have ever had with a dealer. Dont be in my shoes, shop where they are honest. The entire check due to be is less then $1800. and they wull keep it in their bank for another 4 weeks. Thanks Gary Jaffarina for NOT resolving this issue. -Never a Jaffarian Customer again- More
I had front wheel bearings replaced on my 1998 Toyota Tacoma at this service center. After 5,000 miles my right front tire almost fell off going 65 miles an hour. I hear a bang and then a loud rubbing no Tacoma at this service center. After 5,000 miles my right front tire almost fell off going 65 miles an hour. I hear a bang and then a loud rubbing noise. I made it safely to the nearest Toyota service center. The cause was the cap covering the wheel bearings was missing and the installation of the wheel bearings questionable. I had intensive damage to the front end because of this issue and luckly, I was not killed on the Interstate. At this writing, Jaffarian will not stand behind their work or reimburse me for this repair bill. Ron was very pleasant and seemed willing to address the repairs, however, the owner makes the final decision. The owner promised to call me within a week, three weeks ago. More
The manager of the service dept, Marc Jaffarian is very rude and unprofessional. After years of my purchasing cars from Jaffarian's, Marc Jaffarian refused to give an estimate on body work without a writt rude and unprofessional. After years of my purchasing cars from Jaffarian's, Marc Jaffarian refused to give an estimate on body work without a written commitment to have the work done. Why would anyone agree to have work done, FIRST, without knowing the cost? I think he tries to milk insurance claims! He also jacks up the charge to insurance companies for car rentals given while servicing your car.<br>Jaffarian's only saving grace is in the sales department. His name is JC. I'm not sure if he is still with them. More
