I'm likely a customer salespeople love/hate. Love as I am serious and when I shop for an auto, I'm certain to buy. Hate because I am diligent and very, very particular. My wife drives a MB ML350 and my daily driver is a BMW 328i M Sport (recently a MB E550). I travel extensively and the BMW resides more often at DFW than in my garage. I really enjoy a "weekend" car...one that is a thrill to drive, but one I typically drive only 4,000 miles/annually or so. I sold my Porsche 911S about 6 months ago and had researched extensively the 2014 F Type. Never found a disparaging comment - and the enthusiasts on various web sites seemed to be simply giddy when they took it to the track. The looks....and that exhaust package....wow. Knew it was the car for me. I visited ParkPlace of Plano and spoke with a salesman about the F Type. I backed away for a month or two, business getting in my way...and received a call from Paul Light one day informing me the salesman I had worked with moved on and inquiring as to if there was anything he could do to pick the conversation up again. I was still very interested....visited Paul and then, likely tested his mettle. You see, I am a very discerning (I'll use that word as it sounds better) buyer. I want the right car, the right packaging...and I want to feel good about the deal. So, after several visits, numerous calls and myriad emails, I found exactly what I wanted. Paul had followed all my searches....helped me narrow the cars to one or two....and even after I had decided upon the Firesand Orange - I still vascillated. Ultimately, I found the Black Amethyst with Camel seats that undoubtedly was the car for me. While the F Type to some degree sells itself - the beauty of the car itself - the 8 cyl. 495 HP engine - and then, that exhaust package (beautiful sounds), I still needed a great salesman to close the deal. Paul was ever willinig to answer all my many questions and concerns. He never waivered through my many indecisions. But this is what great salespeople do. Paul obviously loves his work...and he is an enthusiast as I am. It is exciting to buy a car like this, but it is also a real pleasure to work with someone as accommodating and patient as Paul Light. I advise anyone looking for a Jaguar to ask for Paul! More

Within 5 min. the sales consultant came to ask if I needed help. Liked that he gave me a few minutes before coming to me rather than as soon as I stepped out of my car. He acted very excited about the product that he was selling which, in MY eyes, made me feel more sure of my decision to buy it. Everyone I came in contact with were extremely friendly and made sure whether there was something I needed or not. I even had a man that came to put Leonard's name on his office window ask if I needed anything. Was VERY impressed by that and I wish I had found out his name so you would know what employee it was that did that so he could be commended for it. Hard to find employees like that. I know, I own a business! Will have NO problem sending someone interested in a Jaguar to this dealership! More

We did all the initial apprasial work on our 2013 Volvo S80 and such through email, and we set up a time of between 10am and 11am to be at Park Place Jaguar on Saturday. We arrived at about 9:45am and were warmly greeted by one of your sales staff who notified Brad that we were there. After introductions with my wife Donna and I, Brad took us to the "XF" we were interested in. He already had it in front and ready, even though we were early, which impressed us to no end. He gave us a tour of the car and explained the controls and off we went. Back at Park Place after the demo drive, we sat down to "DO THE DEAL". Donna and I could not have been happier with this part. It came out better than we even thought possible. I have to tell you that from the time we met Brad, he made us seem like friends and we were the most important people there and he was going to do what ever it took to make us happy. I have had more stress trying to decide on which steak to order in at a steak house, and Mike in finance was just as gracious and friendly. Brad even offered us a better finance package, which we took, than what our lender offered. We could not have been more pleased with everything about Park Place Jaguar from the time we walked into the Showroom, our buying experience, finance, and especially the experience with Brad. Brad has made Donna and I life long customers of the PARK PLACE FAMILY, and I am sure this type of customer service is standard at all the Park Place locations. Brad even offered to come to Cleburne and help set up the "HOMELINK" that I could not get to operate. That has been solved with a new Garage door opening system since the other one was defective, but still, for him to offer to come 72 miles to Cleburne to help with this. . . . OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I went in initially due to a faulty fuel gauge. They replaced fuel talk under warranty and noted I needed new back brakes in order to avoid replacement sensors and warped rotors. They also prescribed a full wheel alignment, and a tire rotation and balance. My car is a 2010 with 27,000 miles so I agreed to the repairs. Long story short. I had to return to the dealership 3 times to "attempt" to resolve alignment issues (and the issue still exists). There is no possible way they even tested the repairs because the issues were evident less that one block from leaving the dealer. In the end I was charged service repairs to remediate alignment problems that I never noticed before. To add insult to injury, my steering column was making a grinding noise when moving into position. They agreed to add lubrication to remedy the issue. I enter into my car after the third visit and the noise is immediately evident. I have given up on this dealer and unfortunately the other Jaguar dealer in the area is owned by the same dealer group. I have made an appointment at an independent service facility to get the alignment issues resolved. I plan to go directly to Jaguar with a complaint. More
As an out of state buyer of a premium car, I was very reluctant in purchasing my Porsche sight unseen. When I flew into DFW from out of state, Leonard was there waiting for me at the airport for the ride to the dealership. Seeing the car in person for the 1st time, I was not disappointed. It was exactly as Leonard described. I truly appreciated his honesty and candor regarding my purchase. The car was detailed perfectly; I could not have been more impressed. After a quick test drive, the paperwork was completed without a hitch, and I was on my way home. Leonard followed up days later with all the required paperwork for registration and licensing. I wholeheartedly recommend Leonard Johnson as a salesperson, and Park Place Plano Jaguar as a store. If I am in need of Jaguar, I will give Park Place the opportunity to earn my business again. More
After leasing 2103 XJL on 7/3 I had spoke with Paul Light & Mike Cotroneo about possibly buying my new 2013 Mercedes E 550 I had recently purchased from another Park Place dealer. Explained to them about the design of the seats had started aggravating an old broken hip injury after driving new Mercedes for approx 6 weeks. I couldn't stand to drive/ride in it any more. I had paid over $50, down so Mike said to bring it over for them to look at it. A good offer was met and agreed with me.. Meanwhile; I spied the F-TYPE and sat in it..oh good seats fit me very well and could tell right away these seats would never be an issue. Paul Light assisted with a test drive of the V6 -- say no more here we go again (I'M SOLD).. Paul, you must test drive and sell my husband again..DONE.. It is everything it is designed for & Good fit. That day however, I was not ready and stated would be back when I get what I wanted to pay down. Took in a Smart car for tech service on Saturday 8/10 for pre scheduled appt. & learned no "Smart" tech on Saturday *(was not happy); but left it anyway. During the next 2- weeks, Paul has kept in touch with technical help with my new 2013 Jag XJL and sent pics of new F-TYPE arrivals. Okay I will have to squeeze a day to come back to get "Smart car" On 8/24 came to get "Smart" but might as well have fun. Fun we did again. Paul assisted with a test drive in F-TYPE V8 this time / GREAT feel lots of moves and much noticeable power. Now all I have to do is struggle over the color. I asked Mike best suggestion for re-sale value (I trust his opinion) He said red or black. (RED WITH RED INTERIOR). MINE NOW Paul is really good comfortable/ never arrogant/ never pushy/ knowledgeable about my issues and always has answers quick (sells husbands well). Also Mike answered questions about my lease since I was afraid to put many miles on XJL..Mike said no worries drive - drive/ go-go be happy. He will help with that. Did find out also Mike had emailed my concern to the other dealer about my "Smart" which was very helpful when I picked it up. I would always recommend these guys for anything - they make your day even when yours are bad. More
