This honest review is for a hard earned but well deserved 5 stars. Placed an order for a custom build in April 2024. Good communication with Jesus Arellano, my salesman. Got regular updates and on October 2nd received the good news - my custom built 2025 Range Rover Sport arrived at the dealership. October 9th, our scheduled pickup day, I was beyond excited especially upon receipt of a text message confirming my car was ready! We drove to the dealership, waited a few minutes, were greeted by Jesus, met the Sales Manager and GM, and from them received the most disappointing, incredible news - the car was no longer there, another salesman removed the “SOLD” sign and sold it to somebody else! Imagine our disbelief and disappointment? We were upset, to put it mildly. We walked out not wanting to listen to anything more they had to say. Tim Sandquist, the Sales Manager, approached us in the car with another apology. He said he would like to make things right and will do everything he can to make it happen. We were too upset to even consider further dealings with them. Told him we’ll think about it and left. He reached out to me 2 days later saying he may have found a solution to the problem. Against the advice of family and friends, I decided to give Tim a second chance because I felt he was sincere and really wanted to make amends. They found a vehicle that is a very close match to my original build plus MORE - it was an AUTOBIOGRAPHY! Unfortunately, upgraded features meant more money also. But Tim made an offer we couldn’t refuse. I knew then my instinct served me well and I made the right decision. Tim delivered on his promise. On the day we picked up “my new car”, we again met Jesus and Tim and was introduced to Dana Beyer, the Client Relations Manager. She was just wonderful. The three of them worked together and went the EXTRA MILE to show us how committed they were in making it up to us. We got VIP treatment and the follow through is impressive. Tim, Jesus, and Dana…thank you for turning a bad situation around and giving it a most satisfying happy ending. I feel like I gained new friends in you. I know it was not an easy task. You definitely earned and deserve these five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! P.S. Shoutout to Omar also. You’ve been very helpful in introducing me to my new Autobiography’s technical capabilities. More

We had luxury butler service. We have never been treated that way before. Dana even communicated us a few times after we left and to make sure we got home okay. Sean and Tim were fabulous to work with. Tim got my Fiance and I in the car we want and the price we love for our business. Sean, was easy to work with. No pressure at all. Super chill man. Gorgeous showroom, lovely amenities. Most importantly, superior service. We left feeling so spoiled!!!! Thank you Dana, Sean and Tim. Omar, also a big thanks for the knowledge you provided. In May 2024, I built my 4th Range Rover online—a 2025 Range Rover Sport Autobiography. I called Land Rover Newport Beach, and Sean, a sharp and upbeat salesperson, got back to me right away to set up an Range Rover Sport Autobiography. I called Land Rover Newport Beach, and Sean, a sharp and upbeat salesperson, got back to me right away to set up an appointment. The next day, he reviewed my build sheet and, after a quick chat with his sales manager Tim, my order was placed—no deposit needed! On September 16th, Sean surprised me with a call: “Ken, your new car is here! It’s incredible!” I met with him the next day, and the delivery process was seamless. Omar, the product specialist, walked me through all the amazing features, while Jenna, the finance manager, carefully explained the optional care packages. And Dana, the product manager, went above and beyond by bringing chilled water and snacks on a silver tray—such a nice touch! Driving my new car is a dream, with its powerful 4.4L V8 engine and fantastic features like the center console fridge and top-notch sound system. I couldn't be happier with the five-star, first-class experience from Sean and his amazing team at Land Rover Newport Beach! I recently purchased a Land Rover Defender at the Newport Beach dealership. Candidly during the sales process & delivery of the vehicle I was disappointed. However once Dana Beyer, the dealerships Client Rel Beach dealership. Candidly during the sales process & delivery of the vehicle I was disappointed. However once Dana Beyer, the dealerships Client Relations Manager, things changed quickly! Bottom line is everything changed. I am now completely satisfied. Thanks to Dana and General Manager Dustin King I am not only a Defender fan but a fan of the dealership. People make the difference and Land Rover Newport Beach has some of the best. More

I would give it a zero star if I could. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. I have been a Landrover/Jaguar owner for two decades and my recent experience This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. I have been a Landrover/Jaguar owner for two decades and my recent experience with Carlos Juan Lazo at this location has been horrible. He attempted to charge me $865 dollars to refill diesel fluid into my car. Mind you, diesel fluid only costs about $20 at any hardware store! He justified it by telling me the fluid costs over $600!! They are now holding my car hostage because I don't want to use their services, and are charging me $255 just to confirm that I told them I needed to add diesel fluid to my car. This is alarming, and will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. More

My father has been a mechanic all of my life, so I grew up in and around dealerships, making me quite familiar with their inner-workings. In all my years, I've never encountered such deplorable customer se up in and around dealerships, making me quite familiar with their inner-workings. In all my years, I've never encountered such deplorable customer service as I have with Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach. Phone calls, voicemails, emails, and text messages all go unanswered. Service has to be repeated multiple times to achieve resolution. And parts go unordered for months at a time. The only saving grace and shining star on their staff is service advisor Peter, who's been a gem to work with, and who's helped maintain my sanity. Were it not for Peter, I would find another way to have my Jaguar serviced. More
