When we wanted to take a day to think about our decision there was no high pressure to buy. That gave me the confidence that Bud was looking to make sure we were satisfied instead of just selling a car. The closing process was handled very well by Ken Kalk. Apart from liking the car, we were extremely impressed with our sales consultant, Diana Livernois. She was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy - unfortunately a trait affecting too many auto sales consultants. We know a great deal about cars especially those we are interested in buying, generally more than the people selling the cars. However, Diana was as knowledgable and provided excellent details on the car in question including maintenance and financing. She was friendly, easy to deal with and had a great sense of humor. She makes buying a car a pleasant experience and is in our opinion, one of the best sales consultants we had the pleasure to deal with in recent past. Exceptional Transparency and Customer Service Wife and I decided to go on the market for a new sedan. In our research, the 2017 XE popped up as a possible alternative to many of the other options we were considering. Price wise, it was about where we wanted to be at. I consider myself a very experienced car buyer, having helped numerous friends, coworkers and family members purchase their vehicles. In over 10 years of frequently purchasing vehicles I've encountered just about every trick in the book; bait and switch, deceptive advertising, high pressure tactics, intimidation, claimed ignorance, errors on purchase orders, etc. I would dare to say that car buying should be considered a blood sport. In comparison, very few athletic activities get your heart rate to such high levels with so little effort as to possibly cause a stroke. We happened to be near Crown Jaguar on a late Saturday afternoon, so we decided to go in for a quick look as we had received a referral to see a salesperson by the name of Omar. Upon arriving, we were promptly and courteously greeted by Len Wallace whom very politely introduced himself. Len attempted to reach Omar for us but found he was not readily available and offered to assist. He was very attentive when I was explaining what I was looking for. With no presumptions, Len made pertinent follow up questions to confirm he understood our needs and quickly proceeded to search for vehicles that closely matched our criteria for price and equipment. Once the vehicle was located we rapidly set out on the always requisite test drive. During the test drive Len very thoroughly and clearly presented many of the car features, warranties, and dealer services. So far all great. Back to the office, and I was already getting ready for that unwelcome part of the car buying experience that all despise; The negotiating. Well, this is where the good story gets better. Len presented two purchase orders for the vehicles we looked at. To my surprise, the numbers were better than we had previously discussed, all itemized clearly and correctly. By now we had been at the dealer for about 2hrs, 1.5 hours past their closing time that day. I wasn't sure who wanted to be out of there more, my wife and I, or Len (he didn't show it). We really liked one of the vehicles Len presented, but sadly it was out of our established budget. As most reasonable people, we told Len we would go home and think about it. At this point most salespersons get aggressive attempting to close the deal, but not today. This is where the good experience goes into Beyond Excellent. Very calmly, Len handed both purchase orders and asked us to take them home and think about it. NEVER in all of my previous experiences with other dealers did I have a salesperson that voluntarily handed out a purchase order for me to take home. Actually, I could probably say I was once assaulted at another dealer when I attempted to take a picture of a purchase order. In this case, none of that. As I was leaving the dealer for the night I had the opportunity to engage with Omar and exchange a few words of gratitude for the service received. Believe it or not, the above is a very abridged version of the whole experience. Unfortunately, the story ends sadly. For reasons far beyond my control, and in no way related to Crown Jaguar, I was unable to purchase any of the vehicles. That didn't stop Len and Omar from reaching out days later to follow up and make themselves available as needed. It is the little things that make the difference among customers obsessed with excellence in customer service. Paying attention to small details make a huge difference and Crown Jaguar is on top of the game. Now I see why they have over 200 excellent reviews on this site. Will certain go back when the time comes and highly recommend this dealer. R. Perez More
