I recently purchased my fourth Land Rover, the third from Kaplans and the second from John Vallante. There is a great team of people working there including John in sales and Lori and Mike in service. It is great to go to a dealer where you always have the same people to deal with and they remember you and treat you as a valued customer. On a number of occasions my family and I have participated in off-road events organized by Kaplans, these have been great fun and really demonstrated the wonderful, underused, capacity of all the Land Rover vehicles. Speaking specifically of my last purchase, I got a great deal on a great vehicle and John and the sales team made everything so smooth I hardly noticed the process. I even had them swap the wheels off my old LR3 to my new one because I wanted the off-road tired I had purchased at the end of last year, they gave me a loaner while they did that. This morning I heard an interview on NPR where someone was talking about buying a car back in the 60’s and how the service was so much better back then, the service they described sounded just like the service I got from Kaplans just a couple of weeks ago, so you don’t need to go back in time for great service. Sean and John proactively reached out to me directly about a trade in of my existing land rover for a new 2012. The transition was seamless. I started the process a few weeks ago, but was undecisive. John did not pressure me at all and answered all my questions that I had.
