I recently purchased my fourth Land Rover, the third from Kaplans and the second from John Vallante. Each interaction I have had over the years with Kaplans has been a pleasure both on the sales and service Kaplans and the second from John Vallante. There is a great team of people working there including John in sales and Lori and Mike in service. It is great to go to a dealer where you always have the same people to deal with and they remember you and treat you as a valued customer. On a number of occasions my family and I have participated in off-road events organized by Kaplans, these have been great fun and really demonstrated the wonderful, underused, capacity of all the Land Rover vehicles. Speaking specifically of my last purchase, I got a great deal on a great vehicle and John and the sales team made everything so smooth I hardly noticed the process. I even had them swap the wheels off my old LR3 to my new one because I wanted the off-road tired I had purchased at the end of last year, they gave me a loaner while they did that. This morning I heard an interview on NPR where someone was talking about buying a car back in the 60’s and how the service was so much better back then, the service they described sounded just like the service I got from Kaplans just a couple of weeks ago, so you don’t need to go back in time for great service. I purchased a 2009 LR2 a year ago and loved it. Service and sales have been a great experience with loaner cars avaialable. They are a great team from sales to service. Sean and John proactively reached out to me directly about a trade in of my existing land rover for a new 2012. The transition was seamless. We walked in and fellin love with a Range Rover Sport HSE - our Sales Manager John Vallante was able to work with us financially to not only buy the car we were aiming for, but help us work out the logistics so we could get the car when we wanted and at a price we agreed upon. Once I decided on a car, he provided PREMIER service in making sure it was registered and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure it was inspected (both state and CARCO). I started the process a few weeks ago, but was undecisive. John did not pressure me at all and answered all my questions that I had. I bought a car for my husband as a surprise and John made it such a fun experience.
