I went in to test drive a Equinox. Not to purchase. Jon Malapit came straight up to me when I walked into the Chevrolet showroom. He was very polite and just seemed genuine. Coming from a long time marketing background with relatives in the car sales business, I know the importance of first impressions. He was willing to go above and beyond what a normal sales person would do. I went in with so-so credit and not much to work with. He made every effort possible to put me in the vehicle I wanted. I am very satisfied with Jon and his character. He was honest about the vehicles and offering suggestions so I could make the right choice. In the end, I walked out with a new 2013 Chevy Equinox that I absolutely love. Jon deserves a lot of credit, that often goes unseen by managers and owners. Jake Sweeney, "You have an excellent guy on staff". My recommendation is to let this professional do his job like he helped me. 5 out of 5 stars to Jon Malapit!! And NO! I first spoke with Darrin through the online sales chat regarding my desire to purchse a new vehicle. I then submitted my credit app and faxed all necessary documents to Darrin. I showed up at the dealership and he was with a customer and didn't want me to have to wait so he turned me over to Tyreese Lewis who had just started and it was actually his first day out of training. He was very encouraging. He put forth a diligent effort to provide me with outstanding customer service. I experienced this with all of the employees I encountered. I obtained a loan with a respectable down payment and affordable monthly payment thanks to all the hard work J.C. Baker put in. I am still amazed at how well I was treated and the level service I received. I have bought many cars and for the first time I didn't feel like I was being pressured or overcharged. Tyreese and J.C. both stayed after they closed to help close the deal and ensure everything went smooth. Christopher Willis and Jake Sweeney were very adamant about selecting a quality vehicle for me. Furthermore, they worked diligently to stay within in my requested budget. I first contacted Jake Sweeney through their internet department with a couple questions about one of their 2014 Silverado's. I was then put in contact with Jared Hale. I had my 10 Month old son with me who somewhat terrorized his desk. Not once did he act annoyed or give my wife and I an attitude. I'm very appreciative of his positive attitude with us as customers and his ability to make the car buying experience easy. Jared was very personable with us and made us feel welcome to the dealership. Jared is by far the best salesman that I have come in contact with. They didn't just use the first or second bank to approve me they found the best rate and payment... yes it took several hours to do this but it is worth the wait! The best thing is they went with a bank at 18.99% interest and when the finance manager seen this he took it upon himself to find a better rate and got it down to 10.99% interest. No car lot has ever worked so hard for me to get me the best deal! My wife and I had been in an unfortunate accident that totaled our car. At our advanced age we never thought we would have to replace our car. They needed to check it out and clean it up. The price had not been locked in. Tyrone Glove rcalled and said I could test drive it. I went that afternoon and we took it out and I was pleased with the car the price, the salesman. He sent me to the finance company and we signed the Papers.
