Great customer service - just an overall awesome experience! My husband and I live in VA and were looking for a specific car and the only one to be had in the country was at Jake Sweeney. I emailed the dealer and received a prompt, informative response from Marty Deitsch. This happened on a Wednesday - on Thursday my husband called and spoke to Marty and made arrangements to fly out that day to pick up the car. Marty sent his son to pick my husband up at the airport and then drive him over a half-an-hour to the dealership. They had everything ready to go so my husband could get back onto the road in no time. The car was as promised and we got a great deal. I can't say enough for the customer service we received from Marty and everyone at the dealership. Next time we are looking for a car, no matter what the make, we will be dealing with Marty and Jake Sweeney again!!! More

Jim Dinwiddie is a nice guy and easy to deal with We bought a new 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited from Jim at Jake Sweeney on 8/22/15. I hate buying new cars mostly due to the way car salesman a We bought a new 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited from Jim at Jake Sweeney on 8/22/15. I hate buying new cars mostly due to the way car salesman act, but Jim is a nice guy and made the experience as nice as it could have been (for me). After looking at a couple Jeeps, we decided we wanted to test drive the one in the showroom - no problem, Jim had it pulled out right away. We drove it and decided that was the one we were interested in. We negotiated our options and price, adding heated seats and a tow package. We took the Jeep home that same day, brought it back to the dealership the next week and were provided a rental car in the meantime. When we picked up our Jeep all work was done as expected, including replacement of the leather seats due to an imperfection we didn't even notice! We just returned from taking it on a week long vacation and it was great! The dealer installed stereo system isn't working properly but we will contact Jim next week and I'm sure he will get it fixed just like he has handled everything else we have needed him for. We highly recommend buying your car from Jim Dinwiddie at Jack Sweeney. More

I sort of had Brandon jump through hoops, as I was picky on what I wanted and wanted to drive a few cars. He was more than patient and took me from lot to lot with a smile and positive attitude. He made sure I was informed on the vehicles I drove and ones I thought I wanted, and we eventually found the right one. I don't know that I would have gotten the same car buying experience with any of the other salesmen there, as he was right in my age group and we seemed to have similar senses of humor. 5 star service and a car I hope to have for another 10 years. More

misleading information. Worst dealership Iv'e been too. After I wrecked my wifes car we were in the market for a vehicle. I went through USAA car buying service and found the deal of a life time at Jake Sweeney. We called them on our way up there and it was sold but we went up there anyway to look at other vehicles they had to offer. This part of the car buying went smooth, we found a 2013 Dodge Grand caravan that we loved and after test driving Todd our sales rep worked very hard to get down to the numbers where we could get the vehicle. After about 3 hours there we went to financing to sign the paperwork. I was told after asking that the (Sweeney Shield) comes with the vehicle. So naturally I didn't pat attention to the additional charges section of paperwork. Took the vehicle home USAA issues a check to Jake Sweeney and I get a phone call saying that the check is over 500 dollars short. I look at paperwork and sure enough the Sweeney shield is added to the cost. I tell them this and they say it does come with the vehicle but it is charged. So then i tell them I don't want it and they tell me I signed a contract with them and that is was wrong of me to send a light check. Iv'e called them several times and they tell me they won't send the title until it is paid, which is acceptable if I owed them this in which I don't since I asked and they didn't mention this until after they cashed the check. They won't issue a new temporary tag or help in getting a new tag since the one I have now is expired. Now I'm basically being told that I'm being dishonest in trying to renegotiate the sale after paperwork was signed. My advice is don't deal with this stealership and find a local dealership to deal with. Worst experience ever in buying a used car. Last upon taking the van home the spare tire flies out from underneath the vehicle and they have yet to replace it even though I called them as soon as it happened. More
