We brought our brand new 2020 Kia Sorento in for it's first oil change. As I was waiting for our oil change, someone came out to clarify pricing with 2 different customesr in the waiting area about tire first oil change. As I was waiting for our oil change, someone came out to clarify pricing with 2 different customesr in the waiting area about tire rotation and if they wanted it. No one ever asked me, so I figured I didn't need it yet. Our car only had about 6000 miles on it. As I checked out, the lady told me the total of over $70! For ONE oil change! That was it. We didn't add anything else or purchase any accessories. I reluctantly paid the $70 thinking maybe my husband added something else when he called for the appointment. When I got home, my husband realized what we had paid and we looked over the invoice. We were charged $59.99, when there was clearly a special for $39.99 that he had mentioned when he booked the appointment. They told him that was correct and we would get the oil change at that price. We also noticed on the invoice that we were charged for a tire rotation. We did not need a tire rotation and had anyone asked me like they did everyone else, I would have told them that. Not only that, but when we went out later that day, the service light was on. The dealership didn't even reset that. My husband called someone to help him turn it off and my tire pressure light came on the same day and all 4 tires were at different levels. Not only did we get a tire rotation we did not ask for, but the tires weren't even inflated to be even. My husband called the same afternoon multiple times and the phone went to a voicemail. He called 2 more days in a row and again voicemail. No one ever called back or texted or emailed. I was very interested in purchasing weather mats for my Sorento for over $100. We will not give Jake Sweeney Kia in Florence any more business. I can't believe no one ever reached out to us. They do not seem to care about customer service. We will not return here and waste our money. More

They mislead me to believe I was paying 237 for car but instead payment was 245.86. Did nothing to correct. I will have to say I was impressed. From my awesome salesman Cody French to the wonderful finance man Rom Beagle. This company has great costumer service & sales. I purchased a 2020 Kia optima a month ago from Jake Sweeney Kia in Burlington. The salesman that sold me the car was Phil Anneken , he was a smooth talking salesman who gave me everything I wanted with Sweeney Kia in Burlington. The salesman that sold me the car was Phil Anneken , he was a smooth talking salesman who gave me everything I wanted with the car or so I thought, only the payments were too high and interest rate was too high he told me that I could refinance in 6 months which I found out later was not true . Phil harassed me for weeks asking me for pay check stubs when I had already given him them March. Due to the covid I have been off work and went back a week after purchasing the car which I put 6,000 cash down on . On Monday June 15th I came out for my break at work to find my brand new car wasn't there, I called the Boone county police to report it stolen, they called the dealership because my car had my purse , my phone and other personal belongings. The police talked to Phil they asked if they had the car , he stumbled on his words and said let me check. After a little time he lied to the officer say they had repeat the car for non-payment. I was put on a weekly payment plan and the first payment had already come out. After feeling like my car was stolen I had to get a ride over to Kia. I asked for the sales manager and Andrew Usleaelman came out and had no idea what was going on and said he would get me a refund of the 6,000 I had put down and sent me to Tammy Moore . She gave me a sheet saying they were refunding 5,350 and they were taking out repo fees . I then asked if I had made my payment why was it repoed ? She got very loud and abrupt stating that it was not repoed. Would not give me a detailed list of what I was being charged for and I refuse to sign the document. Later on I called up there and they said Phil had kept the spare key because pay stubs were not produced. I will never buy a car from any Sweeney or a Kia again. This has really been an embarrassing and humiliating experience for me at work. I really hope people reading this realize there are people out there that will take care of you when buying a car. More
