But I will start with the main reason I am writing this. 5 years ago I bought a car from Jake Sweeney Kia in Florence KY. I then recently moved back to my home state. Right after paying my car off a kid hit into me and it totaled my car. I went to have the title put under my name so the insurance could take over my car. Come to find out, Jake Sweeney Kia had put a lien on my title. When calling to get a lien release sent to me, no one knew why there would be a lien on my title. Well a few weeks later after trying to get ahold of anyone that could help. They tell me I owe them $4,000 for my trade in..WHAT! You’re now just telling me this?? Here’s where it gets better! They say that we claimed we owed nothing on our trade in. LIE. Why would I say that when I knew I didn’t have it completely paid off. So they tell us it’s in our paperwork. No where in the paperwork does it say that we claimed to owe nothing. In fact they put an NA in that section. Also, they gave us 3,600 for the trade in to put towards the new car? Someone help me make sense of that!?! Normally people don’t give you money if you owe them. I wouldn’t have minded paying the 4,000 if it would have been put into my car loan and not told about it 5 years later when it’s paid off and now totaled. So now they are saying I have to pay them and they were nice enough not to charge interest on it. Wow, that is so nice of you! That’s because you just realized someone messed up and you just created this so called “loan”. Also I never signed anything to have this so called extra loan. And normally if someone hasn’t made a payment in 5 years, at the least, a phone call or a letter in the mail is sent. So first time in my life that I now have a lawyer and he can’t even get ahold of them. Tammy is the lady we have dealt with the most, and she has been nothing but rude and unprofessional. She acts like this was our fault. Umm no, you guys are the business and you sell cars for a living..everyday..I don’t buy cars everyday. So if I or anyone else comes in to buy a car, we think that when we walk out that we are good to go, what I owe you is what I signed on my paperwork. If you’re interested in the rest of the xx this place has done, keep reading. So from the beginning our plates never showed up and after trying to get ahold of them for months, they finally sent them. After that, I had to go there to get oil changes done to keep a “warranty” on my car. Nothing like spending all day there to get my SCHEDULED oil change done. Then it was so cold one day that my handle popped off while trying to open the door. It took them 4 months to get in the part, and I was the one that had to call to see if it was in or not. They told me it was going to be 75.00 but when they put it on it was 275.00 because they had to paint the top strip of it white to match the car. What!?! Again, notification up front would have been nice. I know this is long, but my hopes is to get to enough people to save them from the xxxx that this dealership is putting me through. LOVED my Kia, but again. DON’T BUY FROM this shady dealership!!!! More

3rd car purchased and 100% it will be the last with Jake Sweeney. I traded in a Stinger for an EV6 and was worst mistake I’ve ever made. The car was not charged enough for me to even make it home to Co Sweeney. I traded in a Stinger for an EV6 and was worst mistake I’ve ever made. The car was not charged enough for me to even make it home to Columbus. When I left said 177 mile range, I didn’t make it Columbus before it needed charged and that’s not even 100 miles. I attempted to return the car at that point when I called the dealership and my sales person Ricky Hicks. I emailed the owner Cody to see what we could do and he basically said nothing other than he would see what “he could do” and then went radio silent. This lack of respect and courtesy will give you an idea of the type of establishment you’re dealing with. They sure are very friendly and helpful before you sign the papers. The service team worked diligently to figure out the issue. They contacted Kia Tech to work through ideas on what could be causing the shimmy. It took a few different ideas to finally come up with the solution but Josh and Tony remained understanding and helpful throughout the entire experience. The service team were all friendly and professional. It was an annoying situation that was made bearable by these great individuals. I am very annoyed and frustrated with my experience. I came to get an oil change and they broke my lug nut while rotating my tires. They did not have a lug nut and said they had to order the part. I find this ridiculous considering they are a service center and they do not have something as basic as a lug nut. So I drive all the way from Covington back to Florence the next morning and they tell me it will be an hour to replace the lug nut. This is the worst experience, I want to cry. I will not come back here. More

Anyone who gets charged $22083.00 for a vehicle shouldn't have to have it in a service garage 4 different times in 7 weeks of owning it and making a payment of $319 a month and another $236.00 per month for insurance.
