Quick and easy I recently brought my Mazda 6 in for service and then realized the next day, that it would be best for me to trade it in. I called the sales department, and within a very short time frame, Greg Fails had a brand new car sitting and waiting for me to drive off the lot. He was AWESOME! Upon my arrival, he was very warm and friendly; he was also extremely helpful. He took the time to show me how to use all features, and even assisted me with cleaning out my trade-in! I get nervous when I see a new face in the service department but have been impressed with the various team members over the years. They always get me in and out in an efficient manner which I appreciate. They have arranged a loaner without my asking on the rare occasion that the service will take more time. More
Fair, fast and easy buying experience I went to test drive a used Mazda 6. I was traveling from the Louisville area and did not have a lot of time available. I arrived shortly after no I went to test drive a used Mazda 6. I was traveling from the Louisville area and did not have a lot of time available. I arrived shortly after noon and met Greg Fails (whom I had spoken with and exchanged emails a few times). Greg quickly had me test driving the used Mazda 6. After the test drive he suggested I consider a new car as it was not much more money. I was doubtful that was true but he quickly told me the difference without a drawn out negotiation. He was right, it wasn't much more money. I was not planning to trade my car but we quickly got into that process. This was the lengthiest part of the transaction. I'm never a fan of trading (although I've traded a few cars before). We did arrive at an agreed trade value. I started cleaning my car out for the trade, they assembled all the paper-work and prepped my car. Bottom line I was out the door by 2:40 PM, an impressive feat to me. Greg was pleasant and fair and engaged in no shenanigans. I would recommend him and would purchase again from him. My only negative comment about the buying experience is the dealerships inclusion of a paint and interior protection package (essentially an additional warranty). It is not cheap nor is it something I wanted. It wreaks of the old days when dealers sold undercoating to bolster profit margins and is a modern approach with the same intent. I don't understand why this dealership engages in this type of business practice as it marred an otherwise excellent experience. I don't want any reader of this review to let my single negative comment leave a bad impression of the dealership but I did believe it worth mentioning. Again, I had a very good experience at Jake Sweeney Mazda and would consider buying from them again. It's also worth mentioning that purchasing from them saved me money over what I could find available at the Louisville area Mazda dealers and was well worth my trip to Cincinnati. More
