Off to a terrible start, and never recovered from there As we pulled into the customer parking lot at Jake Sweeney Mazda there was clearly a mess of cars entering and leaving the dealership. Although there As we pulled into the customer parking lot at Jake Sweeney Mazda there was clearly a mess of cars entering and leaving the dealership. Although there was a sales associate (Aaron Willshaw) standing in the middle of the parking lot, he did not seem to have any interest in directing traffic, and before we could even park we were provided the pleasure of watching Aaron grab his girlfriend's behind before she got in her car and left the dealership. That was entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. Said female then needed to leave the parking lot via the entrance, requiring me to reverse my car into the street in order to let her out. Aaron watched and again had no interest in assisting us as customers in our attempt to park. Upon approaching the dealership my friend and I were greeted by what appeared to be the manager; he was incredibly friendly, made great eye contact, and was helpful. However, much to our dismay, he had Aaron assist us instead. Throughout his attempt to sell us a Mazda 2 he was not knowledgable about the car and did not seem to care very much about taking care of us as customers. We did enjoy that the dealership was able to provide us with a license plate in order to test drive it on our own, however. When we returned from our test drive Aaron and another such manager attempted to seal the deal by enticing us with promotional discounts that were simply not as much as Kings Mazda could provide us. It was incredibly unfortunate that although we had a very real interest in purchasing a new Mazda 2, we were treated as idiots simply because of our age (recent college graduates), especially given the fact that we were both more knowledgable about the product than our sales consultant. Our final decision to purchase from Kings Mazda ultimately came down to price (they have a $2000 incentive discount on the same car), but I am not certain that we would have returned to Jake Sweeney Mazda even if the price was considerably cheaper. I leased Mazda3 from Jake Sweeny Mazda. They gave me worst deal someone can get. and at that time I was new to leasing market. but I don't have any complaint about that. Problem: 1) Service: They neve worst deal someone can get. and at that time I was new to leasing market. but I don't have any complaint about that. Problem: 1) Service: They never sent me any kind of coupons. and there are 2 service schedule for Mazda one after every 5000 and one after every 7500 (For synthetic oil). Everytime they tells me different schedule. Even if I told them that this is synthetic and it need service 7500 miles. But they will always give some reason how it is not for you. and they will call you for service earlier and charging more money. Problem 2) Buy-Out : but after 2 years (Little before that) when I called to talk about returning / buying out options. Bob keep on saying, I will have all options ready and call back. He never calls back. After 2-3 weeks of follow up and calls. I went personally to showroom. And bob was such unfriendly for every question his answer was 'that's between you and mazda'? I am sitting in Mazda dealership and how can employee say between me and mazda. That's why they have opened showroom right? and he just told me administrative charges ($250). which he will do. I have no idea for what they are charging $250. Just to fill out forms? No idea. Only thing they care is money. once it is done they don't care. I called chase directly and they said, I can purchase car directly from them and I don't need to go to Dealer. If Bob was so reluctant to work he should have at least suggested me the option to buy to directly. That also he didn't do. On top of it he was mentioning that Jake sweeny is oldest dealer bla bla bla. But they does not seems to care about anything. Especially customers. Also I doubt if Bob is really employee. You can clearly see difference, when I came to lease everyone was happy and when I went to buy out I was sent to some lonely cornered desk where Bob seats. when I went to his desk he was not there. (Even after taking appointment) From my experience, Please do not lease car from this dealer at any cost. More
this is why I would never recommend this dealership.... I was lied to, multiple times by the employee and the sales manager... when I finally got through to someone, they dodged my calls,,, then when I track was lied to, multiple times by the employee and the sales manager... when I finally got through to someone, they dodged my calls,,, then when I tracked them down, they promised to call me back, never did,. I finally after a month gave up and contacted the manager, who promised me the same deal the sales guy did... a check for $99.00 in the mail... another lie... never got it. called the manager twice , "checks in the mail" again, again, no check ever. how can a dealership stay in business this long when they lie directly to customers??? because eventually, the customer gives up, and all they lose is a return customer-- the sales guy probably doesn't care, but you would think the managers or owners would. If you want to contact me, I'm the one that bought the Honda Crosstour from you in November. More
I went to Jake Sweeney to browse around for a car. After meeting with Jay Wagstaff I choose to buy a car. The customer service I received was beyond what i was use to. I have since had a few family members meeting with Jay Wagstaff I choose to buy a car. The customer service I received was beyond what i was use to. I have since had a few family members buy cars from here too. My family members were equally impressed as I was. I also meet with a lady by the name of Katie Sweeney, she was the icing on the cake with her sincere appreciation for my business. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable the whole time I was there. This is the only car dealership in Cincinnati that can get my business. I am truly thankful for Mr.Wagstaff and Mrs. Sweeney because i know i made a solid purchase. More
This dealership was willing to participate in a bidding process with 6 other dealerships in the area. After the second round of bids, I accepted this dealership's offer. Contact during the process, both by process with 6 other dealerships in the area. After the second round of bids, I accepted this dealership's offer. Contact during the process, both by phone and email, was prompt, efficient, and very professional. Once the bid was accepted, those same qualities continued to exist as I worked with Mike Donohue to complete the deal. Mike's personable style continued to show through as he explained the paperwork and vehicle operation when I picked up the vehicle. More

I came in looking for a new to me used car after my car died and had no idea what I was going to get. Tony Heitz was great in taking his time to make sure I found the right car for me and my two kids. No died and had no idea what I was going to get. Tony Heitz was great in taking his time to make sure I found the right car for me and my two kids. Not only was he extremely helpful with my search, but he had coloring books and crayons in his desk that kept my children busy while I signed all the paperwork. I will recommend anyone with kids to ask for Tony when they are looking for a car even those with out kids. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, I am now a Jake Sweeney customer for life. More

I test drove a 2012 Mazda 2 Touring earlier this week, and loved it. After talking it over with my parents and doing some research online I found out it was literally a better deal than any dealer was of and loved it. After talking it over with my parents and doing some research online I found out it was literally a better deal than any dealer was offering in a 500 mile radius of my house and it was well under KBB.com's suggested retail price. Then I came to this website and read some very negative reviews. I am a young woman (24) and was afraid of getting treated unfairly or pressured. This morning I went to Jake Sweeney for another test drive and I'm now the happy owner of my Mazda 2. The whole experience was great! I worked with Paul and he was fun and kept things pressure-free and easy to understand. Every guy I came into contact with was super helpful. I even got the car for less than I thought I was. I can't speak for other reviewers on this site, but I had a great experience. If I hadn't gotten what I wanted, would my review be this positive.. probably not BUT that didn't happen, so I'm happy. I would totally buy another car from them. More
