Hello my name is Rob Hall. I am the Used Car Sales Manager at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet. Although we have not met or spoken directly, I am familiar with your transaction. I appreciate you pointing out that Dave came across as caring. Dave is a diligent and caring guy. Like Dave most of us at Sweeney take pride in pleasing our customers. As Dave pointed out during your phone conversation on Tuesday we feel a genuine effort was made to satisfy you. We realize there was an issue with the "corrected" paperwork but in fairness the original paperwork was correct and all numbers were disclosed. The paperwork was only re-done because we believed that you genuinely misunderstood our original offer. It is my opinion that your review does not accurately reflect the effort or good faith that Sweeney has put forth to try and and resolve your concerns. Despite that fact it is very important to me that you feel satisfied. Reviews that are posted online play a big role in my ability to support my family. You have the ability to edit your review before it "goes live" and although we feel we have been more than fair to this point I am curious what would make you feel satisfied enough to edit your review to a more positive reflection of our dealership. Thanks, Rob Hall 513-782-2859

Hello my name is Rob Hall. I am the Used Car Sales Manager at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet. Our dealership is a fourth generation family business and we take great pride in pleasing our customers. In this case a genuine effort was made to satisfy the customers. We acknowledge there was an issue with the "corrected" paperwork but in fairness it was corrected and the original paperwork was correct and all numbers were properly disclosed. The paperwork was only re-done because the cutomers contacted us the day after taking delivery. They were not satisfied with the original deal. We felt re-signing the paperwork would be a good gesture. As stated in the review we spent $700 on repairs that were agreed to as part of the original deal. The customers later contacted us and requested that we reimburse them for $300 in repairs that they had completed elsewhere. We did deny that request because at that point we already lowered the numbers as requested and spent $700 in repairs as promised on the original deal. In addition they did not give us the chance to perform the repairs in our service department. I responed to the customers to try and resolve this issue after they expressed their concerns but they did not respond. It is my opinion that the review does not accurately reflect the effort or good faith that Sweeney has put forth to try and and resolve the concerns. Thanks, Rob Hall 513-782-2859 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rob, I'm sorry I didn't respond quickly. This goes to an email I don't check very often. Thank you for responding. It appears we have a full misunderstanding. When I spoke with Ryan I made it clear that to have any type of deal our Kia would have to be paid in full. When we did the loan paperwork we'd already been waiting for over an hour, it was late and we felt rushed. The loan person (I can't remember his name at this time) did NOT go over any numbers, he basically pointed out where to sign and we signed. That is why we didn't catch it until the next day. Then the corrected paperwork was not sent in. And when that was discovered even the Bank had issues getting responses from your loan department. We appreciate the $700 that was put into the van, but again, Ryan promised us that everything we pointed out could be fixed. I had originally wanted to hold onto the Kia until the issues were fixed, but Ryan made it clear that couldn't be done. So papers were signed, vehicle was bought, and it was a week later before your repair department got a hold of it, then another week before we got it back. So by then it was too late to not go thru with the deal. Every time we called it seemed we got the run around, sent to this person or that person, getting voice mails and no messages returned. What can you do to make me change the review? Well, at this point it's really too late to do anything. You have good reviews out there...so maybe our bad experience was just a fluke... I do appreciate your response and you asking what could be done to satisfy the situation to have me change the review. If it allows me to do it I will edit to mention your response to me.
