We wanted AWD or 4WD and a V6 with the basic options (air,cruise,am/fm radio, etc.) higher end options would be a plus if price was right. We were able to try several vehicles but were never pushed to any particular one however was informed of what was available that they had. Cost to us was willingly and swiftly figured which was a pleasant suprise. Experience was mostly hassle free and I would recommend this dealership to others. One issue I had that you may want to address however is that (right front) was over inflated by over 10 PSI which caused terrible handling that was corrected once I set all the tires to the proper pressures. Thanks Dan & Gail Franzese More

Salesperson was from "out of town" there to help move inventory. He was useless. Along comes a local guy, equally useless. Here's why... - I asked for the price of the suv. Never got one. I asked on visit 1 at least four times. No price given. - visit 2 I returned with the wife. Still no price. They said they would evaluate our trade while we drove it. They didn't. Return to discuss price. 8 requests, no price. 2. Pushy and rude to say the least. Insisted we sign a commitment to buy. I tell them I'm not signing without a price. They use a lesser model escape as their price example. It was over $22000. I showed them a Titanium in Rochester and an SE in Auburn, both with more options, both ford certified, both less than $20000. I ask again for a price... not given. 3. They try to turn it around. They insist what I'm showing them were base models. Umm, nope. Sorry. I've been researching 2013 and 2014 escapes for months. I know what I'm looking at. They become more rude. 4. I tell them I have financing. They insist theirs is better. Insist cap 1 will "take me for a ride" and that they, cap 1, aren't customer friendly. Tried to push their finance options. Wasn't going anywhere. 5. Get ready to give up. Ask about price one more time. The answer, "you know what you'll pay!" Here come the turn tables, one last time... trying to push my signature for a commitment to buy. Nope. 6. I posted with BBB, I've posted on Google, I've posted all over social media. James says communication is key, yet he don't communicate a thing. 7. A dealer for the people is a joke, crummy tagline, a catch phrase they don't stand by. 8. They call it "no hassle" but what they mean is don't hassle them and do as they want you to do. 9. They did respond to BBB with political statement lies and garbage as if they're running for office. 10. 2013 ford escape se. 30k miles, no options, not certified, pathetic warranty, over priced over kbb from their hole in the wall lot in Seneca Falls (another dump) VS a 2014 ford escape titanium, 32k, leather, moon roof, loaded, 1 yr satellite radio included, Ford certified 7 yr 100k miles powertrain, additional 5 yr 60k mile bumper to bumper. Priced at 17,000. For the people. Finger Lakes blah blah scam. Ripoff. Useless. Heartless. Lies. Lies. Lies. More

Received a call before even leaving the website from "Novalie" . I told her about my bad credit and my situation. She assured me that they wouldn't have any trouble working with it and it's a good thing I called when I did. She said through the end of May they are running a special where only $5 dollars down would get me in a different vehicle. I set an appointment, took time off of work and went to the dealership. I met with David who had me fill out a paper with all my pertinent information. He then asked what I was looking for and I told him I was open as long as it was dependable and the payments were right.. He then ran my credit report and came back and asked how much I could put as a downpayment on top of my trade. I told him as little as possible. He then says to let him talk with his "sales manager" to see what's the least they can take. He comes back over to me after a 10 second talk with this "sales manager" and says they have a bank that will work with me if I put down $2000 plus my trade.. I had already researched my trade in value prior to coming in. The lowest trade in value for my vehicle was $2200. So couple that with the $2000 they want down and it would have been $4200 to get into their $5.00 down vehicles..... Not even close to what I was told. I walked out. Thank you "James Cars" for reminding me that deceptive sales practices are still alive and well in the automotive sales industry... I wouldn't recommend that anyone waste their time with this dealership! More

The only reason we traveled an hour each was was from an email conversation I had with "Tracey" from their sales department. I was very clear with her on our situation, laid out exactly what we had, as well as exactly what we were looking for, and she said she was extremely confident that they would be able to help. After convincing my skeptical wife we might finally be able to get out from underneath the Jetta loan, we made the trek and worked with Jacob at the Seneca Falls dealership. He was nice enough, extremely helpful, and took down EVERYTHING we were looking for, and we were very specific in payments, what our high dollar was, and what we could put down. After test driving a brand new Jeep Patriot, my wife fell in love with it...it had everything she was looking for, and Jacob told us that he is showing us this car because his manager was fairly certain they could get us into this vehicle around the payment we were looking for. We went back in and sat down, quite excited about the possibility of getting everything we wanted. Then the manager came over...they were going to give us 2500 dollars less than every other dealership offered for our trade, and tried to get us to agree to either 8000 dollars down and 800 dollars a month for 3 years, or 600 dollars a month for 5 years with the 1000 dollars down I initially told them. I am not sure why or how they thought that would be ok, but it was an extremely shady way of doing business and we didn't bother to stick around after that. We left, extremely disappointed and totally defeated. We were very clear that if they could not make the payments we laid out work, to not waste our time. We had to find someone to watch our 6 month old son to travel an hour each way, just to be totally defeated. I will be sure to pass this along to anyone and everyone i know looking to buy a car. James is not for the people, he does not give highest dollar for trades, and his sales associates are con artists at best. More
